It was good to see a modern film that actually deals with the alienation and loneliness of our so-called modern society and also how this isolation is dealt with by a tribal and utterly false moralization about sex and sexuality. I think this film does quite accurately show what living in England at the present is like.

This movie speaks to how anyone, anywhere can succumb to darkness to relieve a broken or damaged heart.

This seems to be a deep part of make up in everyones life, meaning something we all at some point dread for the fear of anyone else knowing the vulnerabilities, frailities of our ego.
The lonliness we face and how we handle it. Seems to me we never or forget to be taught that as a young one, and in todays society push aside these points made here.

Portrait of Loneliness:. (Notes on a Scandal) It's great to show a film with great performances from Cate and Judi, especially up-and-coming actor Andrew Simpson, who plays the 15-year-old student.

Sheenie; Extra, me and ma gyal babz made a shower scene inna dis film,

Its a shame Sum people wernt privallidged to be in the trailer ... Big E :P

Two incredibly gifted actors, and what seems like a well written story of a good writer.
But WHY when there are centuries of stories of women incabable of being friends,
would three capable women pick THIS story to showcase?
Because men will pay to produce it?
Because they're no OTHER decent scripts for them to make?
When women-are-friends movies become so overdone that they are a true genre, then films like this might be worth exploring, but really, why waste all your talent on something so hateful.
OK. Rhetorical statement. I understand why all too well.
You can be sure I won't be spending money on it. And I know an entire population of women and men who will do the same.
Do us a favor and stop cross-marketing this insult on women's media channels.

wow i can see ma self in it dat wicked
