FANTASTIC MR. FOX: Make an Ash Fox Costume!

From a contest run by Gen Art and Fox Searchlight! Young filmmakers and designers were asked to create a short film on how to make a costume based on one of the characters from FANTASTIC MR. FOX. Designer Tiffany Kline and filmmaker Alan S. Neal show how to make an Ash Fox costume.

Loved it!

This video is great fun! I hope to see more with the same clever approach! The guy who plays the stodgy host is spot on!

I just want to say, after reading most of the comments here, that the kudos are well deserved...the other musings smack of acidic and pedestrian commentary. I can tell, upon first meeting Alan Scott Neal, he was a young man of character and his dedicated crew are above reproach. That being said, I gave it five stars simply because this film illustrates obviously higher production standards than do the others. Period.

So great!

Shazam!

The cinematography is pretty sick. Good job. I like the use of the one-takes throughout. Shows a budding mastery of the facets of filmmaking.

Does anyone know who shot this? NY LA? Beautiful photography...

That editing was done by Stephen Kenny, though

didnt ask about that but thanks

bo mckenzie was the DP. alan neal was the director. it was shot in wilmington, nc.

NICE!! THIS IS FANTASTIC! GREAT JOB GANG!

dudes, sweet job. i dig. hard.

thanks Alan

proof of cheating: http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/1502/picture11zb.png

Indeed, from your "proof", we can verify that the film-makers in no way cheated

I came here from that site, I admit, but was so delighted by the video I voted five anyway.

Stick that in your cob and smoke it, jerk.

"I did not work on this film", according to the poster. Could be anyone, even you!

Alan, style and class.
I believe in you!!!
Keep it up, fly high, and hang your towels so they may dry.

this is flippin' cool

TO THE PERSON ACCUSING THEM OF CHEATING.
You must be one of the other filmmakers in the competition. How does it feel to have your "video" trumped?

Awesome!

Awesome job, very good quality, what kind of camera was this shot on?

red one

lol. the only reason this has as high a vote as it does is because the filmmakers posted the link to an online message board offering cash to people who vote 5.

real classy guys. when good filmmaking doesn't work, just try to cheat your way to victory.

Dude you are such a douche...

Let me explain what isn't classy...those who have to submit such replies as yours. Unless you are matter of fact in your statements - have actual evidence of such "cash offering" I suggest you keep your rude and outlandish remarks to yourself. Personally, I will account for the directors character. In no way, shape or form would this outstanding young man ever consider bribery for votes. He has a natural talent which doesn't need "cheating methods" to get him where he is going in life! If this is your tactic to discredit another filmmaker because you lack the style, creativeness and originality then shame on you for going such great lengths!

I would hope the winner would not be determined by the number of votes received on this site. That being said, why would anyone offer money to voters? Shame on you sir for concocting such foolish accusations on such great young filmmakers. But hey, i would be jealous too if my video were in competition with this one!

well, if over 200 people were daft enough to fall for that trick, then the jokes on them.

WELL AREN'T WE BITTER. ANYONE WITH AN EYE FOR TALENT CAN OBVIOUSLY SEE THIS VIDEO IS FAR SUPERIOR. GET YOUR EYES CHECKED.

show us the link and maybe this statement will have SOME form of validity.

how is that cheating?

I've seen all the videos linked on facebook... ?

Please explain to me how seeing the links on facebook is cheating my dear friend? There are no "offer to pay for your votes" on the facebook links!

Sweet Job Alan. It looks like with some hard work you are making some good opportunities into great fortunes. Keep it up!

TALENT AT IT'S BEST!!!, WAY TO GO.

definitely the best one

You guys are brilliantly hilarious. I hope to see many Fantastic Mr Foxes running around this year. Hmmmm...a new cult is about to birth....mama lisa

cool!!

It's so fresh and clever!! Just a wonderful short film! Can't wait to see more of Alan's future!

Such a fun video! I love it!
