I saw it the other night and thought it was mesmerizing. Rourke's completely honest performance along with Aronofsky's "Cinéma vérité" approach makes it seem as though you are watching a documentary about an actual person rather than an film with an actor playing a character. Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood are of course excellent in their supporting roles, however the movie is by and large Mickey. Or should I say, "The Ram."
