I love sci-fi and love your movie. It is destined a new classic up there with 2001 and Blade Runner.

You show us (normal people) the beauty of pure love (Cassie) and what noble and terrible creatures we can become in the face of death. Our world is so fragile and in the end, one man can truly make a difference. I see now, in spite of all our technolgy, all our knowledge, in the grand scale, we are but infants, learning to take our first steps.

Thank you for this brilliant masterpiece.

Sincerely,
Shon Tamaddoni

Thank you.

Hello Danny - not sure if you'll ever get to read this - but just wanted to say that I'm reviews ed of Flipside magazine - science and tech mag for teenage boys - published by the IET - designed to get lads (and girls) into 'them' sort of subjects from a strictly non-nerdy angle. Also used to write for Focus mag - point being that I get the science angle (mostly!) of Sunshine but - TOTALLY didn't get the last, I guess, fifth of the film! Won't write that up - but really wanted to know what the hell the Event Horizon moment was about with the mad guy from the lost ship - and Cillian's ecxtasy bit was about. By the way I have been reviewing films - mostly of a boy/indie nature for 15 years so am not completely bereft of an imagination - but those two moments completely lost me. otherwise loved it - and Underworld! Nice one - brave of you for stepping out of your territory.
Best wishes
Caroline Elliott
