If there ever was an actor deserving of an oscar, it is Mickey Rourke. I have a lot of respect for him, a lot of admiration. What a great actor!!!!!!! Thank you bruder. Great works. I must stake claim that Sunshine is the best Science fiction film of the last 20 years. It's simply magnificent. The story borders on the metaphysical as it leads the viewer on a spellbinding journey into the mind. I must commend Danny Boyle on his bravery in tackling such a risk taking venture into space. With sexy lingerie a budget of 45 million, please tell me who else could have made such a masterpiece. It's just a reflection of the talent and genius of this great director. Films like this just don't get made anymore, where you don't need a special effects extravaganza to reach for some element of quality.

Being a huge wrestling fan, this trailer indeed brought me to tears! Its not only because of wrestling, but it's also the passion one has for something! Reminded me of "The Natural". I can't wait to see this movie!!!

There is no one better than Mickey. I met him a couple times. Once in Beverly Hills where he used to have a little soda shop and once in Santa Barbara for a Sean Penn ceremony.

You knew the first time you saw him on screen this guy was magic.

For a real treat watch his early stuff and reexperience this guy's enormous talent.

My first experience was in Body Heat with William Hurt. Simply amazing.

Next I saw diner Diner. He stole the movie. No one could compare to his talent.

Pope of Greenwich Village is my personal favorite. Eric Roberts and Mickey had to be the best acting talents ever paired.

You can go on and on... Angel Heart was awesome ( except for the glowing eyes, too bad that... )

Anyway. Congrats Mick. You deserve more than anyone I can think of. There is no better living Actor/Artist out there. The decades of the 80's 90's and still today are littered with actors trying to be you but always falling short. The gift you have can't be taught. It is born from challenge, sacrifice and intellect fused to form pure untarnished reality.

The ressurection of Mickey and a story that must be told the only way Darren can tell it (to perfection). Marisa, Awesome,. Mickey will garner an Oscar for this performance, Darren will get the statue for this one also. Long over due.

I saw this movie last week at the studio.
I was a big wrestling fan during the 70's,80's and 90's.
It is a unique mix of two styles of cinema Documentary and Drama.
I loved the movie!
It brought me to tears a few times as well.
It is also the kind of film that has to be experienced in a theatre.
Mickey invested his mind,body and soul in the movie and it shows.
Great script,cinematography,directing,acting,and directing.
The movie is RAW and that's what makes it so moving.

Marlon was an earlier generations Mickey.
This guys is a legend and this movie is long overdue.
Face work on men - not advised.
Talent shines through -- and still a rocking body.

Mickey Rourke is simply the best. So much talent. He spent at least 20 years of his life fighting with the jerks running the industry, he never bowed to no one, that is why no one gave hime any roles, although he has enough talent for 100 actors. I loved Mickey in Sin City, he was great. This movie looks wonderful, it combines action and drama, and just a great story-I can't say I have seen a good movie in a while. We need move movies that just tell a good heart-warming story and don't just have crazy special effects.

Go Mickey, you deserve an oscar - long overdue!!!
