I think Dev played his part very well in the film.
the film is a classic...heartwarming & romantic...i loved it!

i liked the way danny boyle spoke of dev patel. The way he described the character was so in depth. Dev did an amazing preformance as Jamal.
I think Dev Patel really gave Jamal all this dignity and restrained passion and communicated his pure selfless soul! Hope to see more of him in the future.

Oh my god, where do I begin on this movie? Everything about it is amazing. Of course I sound like a typical 16 year old girl when I say that Dev Patel is adorable. They picked the perfect guy to play Jamal. I'm so glad they won all the awards at the Oscars. They definitely deserved them all. :D
Damn I have never been so moved by a film, I cried, I laughed, I was mesmorised, but again I cried.
As a gay guy it was so wonderful to see the lead given to a nice looking but not pretty, masculine rugged type...just an ordinary next door type guy...Im in love, Dev Patel you are a winner, you are beautiful, you carried that movie so brilliantly....Brad pitt is a yesterdays man..hail the conquering hero.

I have never seen a film that can portray such raw emotions and can brilliantly show contrasts -- rich vs poor, despair vs hope, good vs evil. In today's world where we have to deal with many uncertainties, this film definitely proves that no matter how difficult life is, two things will always prevail: dreams and love. Dav is a true actor. i listen him when he gave silent shoots, i saw him when he was not on the screen during the show. He make a solid consideration from first scene in the police station to the end on railway station. He is just amazing and the truthfulness in his expression was a big role when there was a music of A.R. Rahmen. Prays for your acting journey. I try to search out the visuals when you are not acting on internet and it realizing me how brilliantly you have performed. keep it up.

"the Beach" opened a beautiful chapter in my life and i found a track to walk alone and this walk make me able to understand the people are in my life. Sir Danny Boyle you are brilliant. Slumdog millionaires is a great film and let me say it's not a only a movie for me but it's like a night time stories, we ever heard from grandma. And how story can take part in children characters only grandma can imagine. Here you did this role and we youngster are thankful for this. Your visual are really lessons where being a visual arts student I consciously and unconsciously learning a lot.

I'm no teenager.... I'm 36 and I fell in love with Dev as Anwar on Skins. He KILLED EM in Slumdog. Excellent performance! Who knew zany, awkward Anwar could be intense and brilliant and...sexy? I will see this movie again and buy it on DVD and memorize it no doubt. I'm cradle robbing but, still.... He's amazing!
I saw the film on today and it was absolutely the best film I've seen all year. It grounds you and inspires all at the same time. I fell in love with each and every Jamal, Latika and Salim at every age. The casting was phenomenal and it should take home Best Picture at the Oscars in February 2009. I look forward to seeing more of Dev Patel and Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, the youngest Jamal.

I just saw the movie today and give huge props to Danny Boyle and Dev. This was a beautiful movie.
Its an oscar contender. The other films need to be really good to take away oscar from this one. And, these days hollywood has not produced any masterpieces, sadly. I just cannot overcome this movie. Its just amazing. I cannot stop smiling when I think about the movie.

If not than we need to appreciate people who sacrified their time and life to potray legacy of those leaders so that the world can see. Who knows you may get help from good Sumartin and help to bring them to justice like what have happen to dictator Suddam Hussien. sexy lingerie I need to see them suffering just like they have done it to the rest of their kinderds.
