dev patel was brilliant in the film! and danny boyle is a true genius. this film has inspired me and made me re-evalute my life and our society today...a mark on any great film. i also now have a huge crush on dev! if it doesn't win the best pic oscar, there's something wrong with the academy!

I'm no teenager.... I'm 36 and I fell in love with Dev as Anwar on Skins. He KILLED EM in Slumdog. Excellent performance! Who knew zany, awkward Anwar could be intense and brilliant and...sexy? I will see this movie again and buy it on DVD and memorize it no doubt. I'm cradle robbing but, still.... He's amazing!

I saw the film on today and it was absolutely the best film I've seen all year. It grounds you and inspires all at the same time. I fell in love with each and every Jamal, Latika and Salim at every age. The casting was phenomenal and it should take home Best Picture at the Oscars in February 2009. I look forward to seeing more of Dev Patel and Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, the youngest Jamal.

I just saw the movie today and give huge props to Danny Boyle and Dev. This was a beautiful movie.

Its an oscar contender. The other films need to be really good to take away oscar from this one. And, these days hollywood has not produced any masterpieces, sadly. I just cannot overcome this movie. Its just amazing. I cannot stop smiling when I think about the movie.

I cant think a better film about India will be made for a long time... Just marvellous. Modern day Romeo and Juliet set in India...The novel Q&A by VIshnu Swarup is a fabulous piece of work.
