My good friend from Germany wanted to see this film but, I was so hesitant. It reminded me so much of my own life. I am happy to say that it turned out. I found the family that I so desperatly needed. Your matriarcal role in this movie was up with Philisha Rashad in A Raisin in the Sun. I can't say how the movie touched me after all this time.
Maybe in about a year people will be able to read my story. I sent off for the final edit about a week ago.
