Looks like a tear-jerker. I seen other previews of this movie before. Although it looks like a very well-written film movies like this get to me in some way or another.

This movie touched my heart so deeply. If every person who voted or voiced an opinion on immigration was required to see this movie first, I believe this world would be a better place. (I also want to say that not all white women are horrible shrews like the one in the movie.) She was terrible, and I'm sure there are people like her out there. But the majority of people are good -- they just need to be informed of how others are suffering and how they can help. Thank you for making this movie to share the immigrant's side of the story - and to show that we certainly all do live under the same moon.

I watched this movie with my family. I really liked this movie. All the casts were perfect. I hope that someday, there will be no one to suffer just to have a decent life and have a decent future for their families. All we want want is to have a better life......
Kate hizo un magnifico trabajo. "Carlitos" es un personaje impresionante, que actor tan maravilloso a tan temprana edad! Derbez tambien estuvo estelar. Ya vi la pelicula hace como media hora, Y toda via me salen lagrimas.
My family, my husband (Mexican), three daughters and myself, simply loved the movie. We will watch it again and again. The actors did a wonderful job, and my oldest daughter said,"I didn't know how bad they really had it!" I believe if it weren't for the immigrants, we wouldn't know what to do, for one thing, they do all the crappy jobs for any amount of money that we americans think we are "to good to do", ie... working in the fields in the rain, mud, cold, hot, sweltering sun and so on! I salute all of the immigrants and think that they should have the same rights as the next person. Viva Mexico!!!!

I loved this movie, when i went to watch it, i felt it so close, i am a mexican and we all know what that problem it, and many live it, noonce chooses to like that way, hiding all the time, mexican just want more opportunities, thet just want to have a better way in life, american people should watch, most of them look down on mexican when they dont even know what that people have gone trough.
All other issues aside(immigration,racism,etc.)if you know what LOVE is then you will truly enjoy this movie more than once because it was done well.Keep your negative comments to yourself if you don't understand the kind of love that exists between parents and their kids.To love is to be human.Are you human?Then you will enjoy it.
this is the best movie i have seen in a very long time. it is a most heart touching love story, so beautiful. i cried from begining to end. my grandparents, parents and my family are hispanic and from the united states. however, being from the rio grande valley i know alot of people like those in the movie. even then you don't have to know any kind of situation like the one in the movie to feel what is going on. i think it is a very relevent movie on its own but more touching if you can relate, obviously. i don't know why this movie isn't getting more press. i've never recomended a movie through e-mail or gotten on a website like this but for this movie i did. fantastic job for all involved. and that kid, carlitos, he's going to be a big star starting now.

This is a great movie. Growning up and having family here who's children are back home you hear stories of how diificult it is for them. I have seen people just show up at our door looking for a friend or parent. By seing it on screen it gave it a hole new life. I strongly recomend this film.

I loved this movie. We emigrated from Holland many years ago. My story is nothing compared to this one. I loved all the emotions I went through. I was total engrossed into this story. I am a huge movie fan - when this films comes out on DVD, it will be added to my film library. Highly recommended.

I went to see this movie with my parents and sisters. I love that the dialect is in Spanish and the cast that is made up of new and old actors. I was very touched by this movie, to think of the sacrifices these millions of illegal immigrants make to reach the American Dream. ~from Texas

ok esta pelicula esta bonita y es triste ala ves porque narra las vivensias de miles de personas que benimos atratar de salir aelante onradamente esforsandonos trabajando asta 17 horas diarias contal de salir y sacar adelante nuestras familias ya que desgrasiada mente en nuestro pais es imposible asi trabajaramos las 24 horas del dia....

Please make movies that make you feel good. How about some wholesome family living. Let's see a movie that shows a family working together where calm discussion solves problems. There might be some kids that can learn that families can function positively on all aspects of family life. The world needs this. There is enough sexy lingerie problems out there without creating new ones. And while I'm at it, quit making movies where people are being killed right and left with the blood splattering across the screen. That is not sexy costumes entertainment..I had a neighbor a couple months ago who answered the doorbell, and a kid shot and killed her(totally random) . Make good movies and be happy when you take your last breath on this earth, that you improved people's lives not make them worse.

I like Mexican immigrants but this movie is like a Mexican soap-opera and the actors don't look like true immigrants who are mostly Native Americans, not white people with a nice tan.
I like this movie when i see it i was crying alot and that was the best move of all it was so sad at frist and last because here mom was triying to find his kid that she have not seen for day and day and at the sametime it was fun to see it you did a good jod on that movie that was a great movie to see with your family.
