It's a shame that they spend zillions in advertising and shoving a piece of insigificant trash like The Dark Knight down our throats, while a tender beautiful human film like this is left the the void, yet herocially managed to gross some money. This is the kinds of film we want to see, not idiotic films like the comic book action films that you don't know who's killing who and for what reason and there is no story you can follow or feel nor characters that we can relate to on a profound human level, and experience what they're experiencing as this wonderful film accomplished without a $200,000.000 budget. Yes, the Dark Knight broke box office records with a brilliantly executed marketing plan, but is a sad statement of the state of modern cinema today, whereas a great film like this one reaches a small niche audience due to lack of intensive marketing. Had the dollars been spent on marketing, it may have a much wider audience and skyrocketed this film into the over $100,000.000 gross territory, and inspired the making of more cinema like this.
Just watch the trailer and few video clips ... and hope can watch the whole movie at HONG KONG as no showing schedule at my place.
There should be more movies like this one. People need to learn the reality of immigrants lives. There are so many cases like Rosario and Carlitos. I'm an American but no so many Mexican immigrants with situations like this one and I can feel there pain. Wonderful MOVIE!!!!!

I hope to see more films like this one. This is a stellar cast and I'm excited to see Eugenio Derbez in his first dramatic role. I'm used to seeing his hilarious antics and skits on Mexican television.
his wife didn't do such and such,that complete BS to me because I feel like the men that are cheating are not delivering like they use to or insecure about themselves.Dont even get me started on the women but I will give the women the benefit of the doubt some sexy lingerie dont know the men status and some of the married men are such hounds they wont leave the ladies alone still no excuse.Also, the potential cheater might not know that the person their about to sleep with are in a fairy tale marriage, if thats the sexy costumes case, why are they considering another? While i was watching the movie i did not realize that Eugenio Dervez was Eugenio Dervez. I just now realized who he is. I have seen his comedy show on spanish language TV and truely enjoy his work. he is a comic genius. Great acting on his part. Eugenio and the kid have great chemistry together.
