I just saw the DVD for the second time and all I can say is that I want to have Bob Cilman's baby. I love him and I love the seniors! Super super super!

I think every community needs their very own Young@Heart chorus. I'm sure you have inspired many senior rock chorus' to come together. I know what I'm doing in 30 years.
I'm so grateful I saw your documentary.
Gabriella
I just watched the film and i think it is totally awesome. I hope more people relize the depth of what our older generation has to offer. I hope yous are you coming to Canada. I would definitly go. I hope I'm as energetic when I'm that age. Sorry to hear about the passing of some of your memembers. Music is one of the best healing medicines around. Keep up the healing
A big fan Kat
This is the coolest group I've seen thus far!!! I'm only 21 but I plan to take my grandmother who is 74 to see it as soon as it comes to town! Thanks for the encouragement and great music!
"Young At Heart" was the single most electrifying, spectacular, awe inspiring, precious, lovely, gentle, rousing, terrific movie I've seen in my sixty-one years. I wanted to move to Northhampton, and sign up TODAY!!!!
Nancy from Harwich
Just saw the movie. What an amazing soulful documentary. I want the movie when it comes out. I wish there was a cd of their music, but so far I have not found it. Long may you all sing and brighten our days........

Thanks for that note. I haven't found anything about a cd but will keep looking. I actually prefer Fred N's version of "Fix You" to Coldplay's.
I just saw the Documentary At the Edina MN Movie House yesterday and I just loved it. My daughter lives in Chesterfield Ma and went to Hampshire College. Almost worth moving to Northampton so that i could join the group.
Uplifting, Funny, and Realistic about Life. I paint oils, design and Paint Silk and I am 71 years old. I keep really busy. I work at it. People make fun of me because i am so busy.
Love It. Keep it going. Terrific.

SO can't wait to see this movie...and I just found out that it was filmed in my hometown, which will be twice the fun to see all the familiar places AND faces.....W O W !
Music surrounds me - even my everyday necklace is inscribed with the words "sing" and "dance", both of which I do every single day. Being over sixty doesn't stop me from rockin', and since my wish has always been to be a part of something like this I'll be glad to help you out in the sequel!!
Where can I get it? Amazon.com only let's us request an alert for when its available. -- hey it must be available somewhere, my friend already saw it!!!
I took my ten year old son and fourteen year old daughter to see this movie, and they loved it as much as I did!
I loved the movie. Stan, you did such a wonderful job singing the James Brown song. I'm 40 and hope I can be as inspirational to others as you've been to me. Keep it up and hopefully you will all come to California to perform so we can see you in person. All of you are wonderful!

Saw the movie, saw them sing in person, hope I'm at least as passionate about life as they are. What a great story and what a wonderful group. I was so inspired by it, especially when they sang at the county jail. Kudos to them, Bob Cilman, and all who made (and make) the movie and chorus such a success,
so inspirational, and joyous, we were applauding in our cinema, as the choir sang.
A four kleenex tissue movie.
fiesty and GLORIOUS

I am a music/rock-loving 72 yo woman who sings in a senior women's ensemble, The Treblemakers. Is there any way we can get a director in Henderson, Nevada, to l work with some seniors who LOVE ROCK 'N ROLL? our director refuses, so why not form another group? We love TrebleMakers, and I love Young@Heart. I know how much this music means to them. What a great thing to have Bob Cilman encouraging and directing!!! Anita Meyers
We think this is such a wonderful example of aging. Never give up is totally up to you. I wish this whole concept you be all over the country. Rock on and stay young. God Bless
I work with Ms. Dora's daughter Josephine in Savannah and i think it is awesome that her mom is still able to be so active at 85 and after raising 15 children!! God bless you Ms Dora!

This reminds me of the twilight zone show called kick the can........not kick the bucket!!
I am sixty six and I think the young@heart rockers are super cool.....
The people in this group are FAB! Red Hat society LOOK out! Our hometown is graced by these folks because they play every new years. Now they have gone and made themselves Hollywood Stars- Ohno! This is a worthy documentary!!
I believe music is medicinal in the gereatric years. I have seen near comatose patients begin to tap their toes when music is brought to them. I would love to obtain permission of music "copyrights" and bring some of this genre of music to thee elderly say at the Senior Center in my community. If there is a way to make that happen please share...this choir is living my inner passion. Thank you Bob Cilman for making my dream begin to live!

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!! Kudo's to Fox Searchlight!!!

This wonderful group gives me hope for my older years. My husband and I sang in a church choir before we moved to Amesbury and we loved it. I'm 62yo and cannot wait to possibly join such a life supporting group in my "older years". There should be more such groups!!! Good for Bob Cilman and company. Thanks for sharing this great story. YOU GO GROUP!
