JUNO screenwriter Diablo Cody and actress Ellen Page talk about some of their favorite lines from the film.

omg the movie so rock. it was laid back, and jus enjoyable. though it was a serious matter, Diablo relieve the tension through dark comedy. im writtin a eassy on it(ENG101 class)juno persona is not made up, i have a friend that sooo reminds me of juno. my fave part is when she suggest they place the baby and a basket n let it drif thir way. omg haliriousssssssssssssssssssssss.

Movie was muy fantastico, me amigas. Juno is an awesome character, and Ellen was an awesome actor. Yea, sure, teens ARENT really that cold or crass, but why look into it too much? Why not just enjoy a great movie? Thats my motto_ never check the teeth/gums of a free horse!

I agree. noone says Fo Shiz, and all that othre stupid stuff, and it was like, what a bitch she is to everyone, she never even cared that she had a bun in the oven, man, but still I can safely say that it was an overall good movie, and while I have criticism, I would definitely recommend it to my closest friends and family members. But she was sixteen. She would NOT get all those references to EVERY obscure punk band that was even mediocre from 1960-2000. It was a bit ridiculous, but still, not trying to offend. It WAS a good movie, just laking a bit of realisticity, causing less accountability.
Soundtrack was great. Cat Power and Kimya Dawson are great, not to mention Sonic Youth, and it was interesting to find some new bands, like Velvet underground. Although it seems like They could have found a place for some Jeff Buckley, or They Might Be Giants.
Teeagers do not talk like they do in that movie. The dialogue will be the downfall of the whole movie. Not only the obvios slang, but all of Ellen's lines are one liners. She is bitingly sarcastic, almost hateful, to everyone for no particular reason, people who she loves. She has no believable emotions or responses to anything. She is pregnant. oh darn. Guess I will just get an abortion. owell. Great storyline, great acting, fantastic soundtrack, but it is obviously a mid-thirties woman trying to portray a teenage girl, but failing.
Okay, no one talks like that. But thats not the point of the movie. They obviously didnt use normal dialouge for a reason. The one liners make the movie what it is. It was a great movie. Best teen pregnancy movie in a long time. KUDOS!!!!

For once, a movie that actually shows how a real teenager would handle an adult situation, not how an adult would, or how an overly exaggerated teen stereotype who would get scared and cry and shakingly smoke ciggarettes and booze away thier worries would handle it. Real teens aren't as stupid as they come off as in other movies! Bravo, Diablo, Ellen, everyone! And teens DO Curse, but not nervously or constantly. The script was ingeniously subtle and insightful. And in a real situation, things like that would make a person have to mature all at once. After you become somebody's mother, you can't afford to be selfish and lazy and careless. Because another human being's life rests on your stomach. Cheers to great acting, beautifal portrayal of teen mistakes!

juno was a fantastic movie.......the songs were touching and random however they described a sence of meaning throughout the film, I truely love this comedy that had a twist of dramatic romance. It reminded me of the Neopolean Dynamite movie that was full of random, and optimistic lines that kept everyone rolling, on the hand this film contained a lesson to those who have never imagined what that kind of life would be like. In all conclusions I would definitly have to say that the writers of Juno are absolutly amazing no questions asked, also the actors made this film something else. I hope there are more movies in the future that could really give and exact meaning like this one however nothing can top this film! Ellen Page played the roll of an important character who has become an outlet for teens who are in the same position.....and at the same time this movie made a family night into a laugh untill you cry, cry untill you laugh endless night!!!
