Yeah, i was also wondering if it was real or fake. It looked fake, but it was moving and even tried to bite the guy near the end. i'll assume it was real then.

Often times in and around India, the snake charmers rip out the snakes fangs and/or sew the snakes mouth shut.
The name of the actor having fun (for lack of a better descrip?) with the snake is Waris Ahluwalia. I too thought the snake was phony -- but it is indeed the real McCoy.
So the next time you happen to see a "toy" cobra on the ground, stay away.
