He wouldn't freeze?
Maybe he would't maybe he would. and i dont kno squat about space or science so dont hate on me but...

since the sun is dying (like getting weaker blah blah blah) Wouldn't it make space colder. So maybe at the temperature in space -in this movie- the guy could freeze to death.

Holy crap!!!

urgh... nasty way to go

...Everyone here obviously has WAY too much free time.

Great special effects, it's still worth watching, even though you have allready seen the death scenes lol

great movie, see it if you can.

EAT SHIT AND DIE! It's better that freezing in outer space.

Once again people complaining about a movie, its a movie people Try to just Watch it without picking it apart, now in the movies defense, WE HAVE NEVER SEEN/TESTED/OR HAVE A CLUE to what the human body would do if in outer space without a space suit, Its All speculation, and theory, who knows what would happen, and in my opinion what they did in this movie is probably pretty close, you would explode, wouldn't be all dramatic, you would Freeze.

What kind of life must you have to criticize based on scientific facts. Have you ever heard the words, it's just a movie. Get over yourself and quit thinking inside the box. Let your mind wonder and try to enjoy something for once in your life. Better yet, just get a life.

Eat pussy.

For fuck's sake. You're all morons. I've been to outer space and my best friend Jimmy got lost in space and he froze to death before we could find him. Furthermore, another guy on my friend's team (he told me about it so it's true) told me that his best friend Sam ended up partially exploding in space from decompression. And we're not scientists, we're space pirates. Ya bunch of knobs.

You are all hilarious. Honestly, is this all so important that you need to get your panties in a knot?

And he would have partly exploded from the gases in his blood stream expanding as his lungs emptied and all that fun, but who cares?
It is just a movie and it makes for an entertaining death.

Science haters? It's not the science lessons that are at issue, it's the "Thanks for suddenly making me not want to see this film Fox" bits that are at issue. Is this movie 100% scientifically accurate? No. Nor is it 100% accurate on any other arbitrary criteria. It is a fictional story designed to use aspects of our reality in order to illuminate a point. All stories do this to one extent or another. Historical dramas will fudge historical facts just as much as science fiction stories do. Most of Shakespeare's plays play fast and loose with history when necessary to tell their story. Shall we avoid 'MacBeth' and 'Julius Caesar' as well?

To "why is it that every single...." and all of you other science haters:

Grow up. Apparently you're so insecure about your lack of science knowledge that you feel the need to attack the people who do understand what's going on. I'm glad that "Einstein, Jr." felt the need to let other people know that this movie's science is full of holes. Yes, it's fiction and you need to suspend your disbelief but there's nothing wrong with learning what is supposed to happen.

Why is it that every single clip about this movie has comments by some anal little twit trying to pass himself off as a scientist? It's a movie, Einstein Jr., relax. Maybe if you're able to relax enough, you'll be able to dislodge that cob stuck in your ass. Good Luck.

Nice knee-jerk reaction. Not wanting to see a sci-fi movie because of a scientific inaccuracy? You might need to get out more.

Last time i heard, this was a MOVIE. a FICTION. get over it.

You Dont Freeze to death like that! It is hard to shed heat in a vacuum as you can only do that by radiating it, and that is a very slow process. At the worst for a few seconds of exposures your eyes might frost over because your tears are boiling off of them, and you'll bust some capillaries, before succumbing to hypoxia in about 20-30 seconds.

Thanks for suddenly making me not want to see this film Fox.

HE NOT SUPPOSED TO FREEZE TO DEATH! Overall it's much more gruesome than that to be killed in space. If you are interested in what space really does to a human body check here http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a3_147.html. FOX/Searchlight...Please leave the science to the scientists...
