Sam Rockwell and writer/director George Ratliff discuss what it was like to film JOSHUA in New York City.

NYC's ambiance is conducive to so many emotions. The city was a perfect setting for this film in that the skyscrapers and small apartments produced claustrophobia within the family in regard to one another. This claustrophobia resulted in the eventual break-up of the family, as Joshua attempted to smother his parents and oust his new sister.

Such a wonderful role for Andy Griffith. The writing is so well done. The loss of Adrienne's talent is tragic. What a extraordinary labor wholesale lingerie of love she has left behind for all of us.
