A irish recommend me this movie, after watched i can't forgot anymore.i love it sooooooo much.the relationship is higher than love and the music is so nice.btw,im a chinese.lol

I've just bought my tickets to see The Swell Season in Melbourne next month and have been smiling all day because of it! I fell in love with Once at the Melbourne International Film Festival, saw it again when it got a commercial release, then bought the CD and DVD. I can't tell you how much I love this movie. I used to live in Dublin and it just means so much to me. My friends had Falling Slowly playing as they signed the register at their wedding last week. They too fell in love with Once after I told them about it.
Am blabbering on here, but what I most wanted to say to everyone involved in Once is THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

I watch ONCE(movie)at my home. When movie is over,i can't stop my tears,and... mood~~~~~~~~
Bye!

Refreshing...take these two and meet them on the street and you don't look twice unfortunately...reveal their charming character through beautiful lyrics and delivery and the remarkable timing of the director and you find them irresistable...their loneliness is revealed so keenly by the timing of the director and the way the camera shows their faces at the most appropriate time...the way the camera focuses on Glen when Marketa's daughter appears is pure art...the shot of the music store owner when he hears the birth of an amazing song...the pain in their voices...what a joy to experience characters like these without the shallowness tha accompanies most popular films these days...AUTHENTIC

Most romantic movie ever made! Glen, you have the best voice in the world, I melt when I hear you sing Falling Slowly.

Amazing

U know,Words Just Can't Go There...

the way Glen and Marketa being with each other is fascinating,
feels like we are trying to keep sb. at arm's length physically,
but can't help his/her love seeping into the other's life slowly mentally.

Once ALLURES me to keep holding on to find my ONCE

To everyone at Once:
Thank you so much for this beautiful little film. Thank you. Thank you. I'm still too stunned to say anything except thank you.

A haunting beautiful film....The scene in the music shop where a song is born will remain with me forever.

I loved Once SOOO much that we bought a total of 20 tickets to The Swell Season in LA and San Diego. We bought that many because we wanted to share this wonderful sweet vibe with my closest friends and family (half the tickets are early Christmas presents). We are turning it into a big party, before and after. I saw The Frames for the first time in LA at the Henry Fonda Theater (because of Once, which I've now seen three times!) and I have been obsessed since. I haven't been into music for over a decade and I am now completely besotted! Nothing but The Frames and Swell Season plays from my iPod. Glen, please bring The Frames back to LA asap!

This is such unqualified ecstatic fun---YES, reading a bang up review of your baby in the LA Times!!!!!!!!!!!! Incandescent and radiant glowing. Is that redundant? I don't care. I just get carried away by this film.

Did these 2 Irish dudes put in 4 quarters for 2 copies of L.A. Times, or just 2 quarters for 2 copies? Hmmm...

processd, preservatives that is added in our food. It's sad that times have changed that people who know how to stay healthy & want to stay healthy pay the price. Most organic food is worth our health.Americans forget that fruits, vegetables, beans, whole wheat etc is what we are supposed to be eating sexy lingerie to avoid illness. Unfortunately, there are so many people out there that are not aware that fast food, (junk food) make us sick. Health insurance companies won't tell you what you are doing wrong. America is about making money. Why are there so many people depressed? Why do people snap & kill their families, rob sexy costumes a bank or kill someone? People snap because they don't eat properly. Why is it that the poor get lingerie into more trouble? Because they don't eat healthy & in turn, their brains don't function properly to make the right decisions. The old saying, you are what you eat, an apple a day keep the doctor away, how true

Met some friends the day after seeing this film. They asked me why I was glowing, and I told them. I'm still glowing..... I predict glowing people will slowly but surely spread the word, and this will become (despite it's makers' wishes) a blockbuster........

Is director John Carney effecting an exaggerated American accent? That would be my guess.

Can you even imagine what it'd be like to read a glowing review in the LA Times (let alone any other monster publication) of your own movie?

This was one of the finest films I have ever seen, so sweet and unpretentious and moving. Rather than hopping into bed with each other they really got to know one another and figure out what was the best course of action each of them needed to take at that point in their lives. That is the true meaning of love, is it not.
