Wow. I thought nothing could beat the songs from "Enchanted", but this is exactly what they mean in that film when Amy Adams says "Rush to her side, take her in your arms, and pour your heart out in a beautiful ballad." The writers of this song obviously had someone in mind when they wrote this. A remarkable, heartrending song.

Such a simple story....yet so powerful. So many people can relate to this film. You meet a person that you wish you could be with - but it is not possible. They used their actual friends and families in it. And the music was brilliant. Proves that you don't need a big budget to make a good film - just a real story based on a common experience.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion - and some will undoubtedly have other opinions about who's being lazy.
Would have been a great movie if they finished it, sadly, they did the lazy artistic fill in the blanks garbage at the end. I get that that is supposed to be part of the mystery, but if I want that kind of mystery I will just watch the first 3/4 of a movie and just make up an ending, otherwise I loved the movie, right up until they skipped out on the ending.

One of the best love stories i have seen in a long time, brings alot of memories back to me, the music is the best i have heard in a long time, she has a lovely voice and they both sing with so much feeling.

Haunting and beautiful..........
I guess where you are in your life is how you will react to this film. I had an innocent, wrongly timed love once. It haunts me constantly. He has married twice since and just had twins. Sixteen years of marriage and two girls later of my own, I still ache for the intensity this love. Watching this has helped me celebrate and treasure what I had, without having to try to recapture it , and in turn, treasure what I do have. I guess I was lucky and some of the best things that happen to us in life are the things we don't see through to the bitter end. Thanks for the closure!
I saw this film last night and loved it. When we were leaving the theatre, my husband told me how Adrienne Shelly was murdered shortly after it was made. How can such a gentle person who wrote a beautiful and hauntingly captivating film be dead and in such a violent way and for no reason? This is a real tragedy.sexy lingerie Not only for her husband and daughter, but for all filmgoers. We have lost someone who would have given us many more great gifts in film.

This is just a little movie but it stays with you. For the music, the sweet little slice of time we observe and for the emotion it stirs, it's in my top 10 favourites. Slowly Falling is simply beautiful.
This is a very special movie, the music has helped to tell a bittersweet and poignant story of love. I am completely disarmed by its emotional toll. What a brilliant work of art. THanks.
Gladly, I loook forward to seeing them both singing at the Oscar's next year and picking up the award for best original song. "Falling Slowly" is the best contextual song in a movie since "Evergreen". A great film fueled by brilliant music and subtle heart.
One of the best love movies I've ever seen. I saw it four times: once with myself, once with my daughter (17), once with my lady friend (40+), once with my son (20). they all loved it as much as I did, and the soundtrack is great. If you missed it on the big screen with the big speakers - shame. Buy the soundtrack. But please, see the move first!
