I loved Andy Griffith in this movie! The entire cast was really wonderful, but he was really an unexpected ingredient in the whole thing. Very endearing.

The city was a perfect setting for this film in that the skyscrapers and small apartments produced claustrophobia within the family in regard wholesale lingerie to one another. This claustrophobia resulted in the eventual break-up of the family, as Joshua attempted to smother his parents and oust his new sister
