I don't hate it because it's unrealistic. I hate it because it's bad. It isn't entertaining. It is so bad that it's impossible to suspend disbelief and go with it because the writing, the tone, the acting is so jarring that we know we aren't in some small Minnesota town mingling with quirky people. No, we are constantly aware that we are sitting in a gloomy theater with a sticky floor while the people involved in foisting this crap on us are doing the equivalent of scraping fingernails on a chalkboard. Movies don't have to be "realistic," but they have to be or seem "real." This movie is false, manipulative, cheap, predictable, amateurish, and hypocritical. In short, it's a ripoff. All of us who have seen it, paid to see it, have been had. Those who have seen it and love it have been really played. Let's opt for some quality for a change. This movie is crap, and I want my hour and a half back to spend doing something worthwhile. You can keep the chump change I paid to see it. "Cody," indeed the devil in a not very good disguise, can consider it a tip and keep it in her G-string with the rest of the money she's ripped from us. Diablo, you aren't fooling all of us. Many of us know you are faking it. Enjoy Hollywood while you watch it eat you alive.
