Saw this yesterday and just had to watch many of the scenes again today. Mickey Rourke, oh man, Mickey Rourke. I'm still kinda baffled about his performance. He was, the movies is, just too beautiful. What ever the film lacks in a driving and thrilling and a forwardgoing story, it compensates with a beautiful, slow and most of all a very simple storyline and just wraps it all in a ball multiplies that exponentially with the characters, and their performances. Darren is a genious, Rourke made me cry (lol :D) and I'm in love with Marisa Tomei:)
I honestly think this is a movie that everyone should see. Even if you don't like it, you cannot but feel compassion and sympathy for the Ram AND genuine happinessa for Mickey.
