Oscar nominations for two gritty, touching, real performances that are rarely seen in a Hollywood movie. Marisa is tough and smoking hot and made my heart sink and swoon throughout the movie. (I think she's single right now as well. Damn, I need to do some situps just in case we meet someday.) As for Mickey, he knocked it way, way, way out of the park. What I appreciate most about his performance is the vulnerability in this rough and tender man. Beautifully human movie.
