I have had the opportunity to visit the US on a number of occasions, I noticed that the american pallet is desensitised or even conditioned from a very young age!
Most children are fed processed foods from a very young age that is over sweetened or over enhanced, therefore natural foods taste bland to the average american pallet.
A movie such as this should open peoples eyes to the methods of production that enable us to have that burger that is slowly killing us.
It is unlikely that the average american will wake up anytime soon to the fact that their diet is causing them to become obese and diabetic!
Other nations in Europe are fast following the US but hopefully movies like this will wake people up to the problems of a "Fast Food Nation"
It's truly astounding how the fast-food industry has affected not only our eating habits and health, but also our financial spending. If only we as a nation became more educated about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and the drawbacks of an unhealthy sedentary lifestyle. Not only has fast-food affected our health, but also the image that other countries perceive upon us.
