SMOKIN' MICS LIKE CRACK PIPES

When one of my close friends sent me a message with only a link to click on, i thought it would lead me to some terrible movie clip, instead it led me to this. The second i heard "Juicy" come through my speakers and a clip of NYC I was out of my seat. Notorious was nothing more to me than a tape my brother had given me when i was a kid. But when i put it in and pressed played that all changed. The lyrical genius this artist had created my passion for hip-hop. I had never heard anything like it. This film I would have to agree with Ms. Wallace is long time due. Whenever i speak hip-hop "Biggy" is the first name out of my mouth. Im already at a disadvantage because im so young, but i love this music. People try and compare him to rappers now a day, and it just amazes me how closed-minded you can be. This film will surely open the eyes to people who try and embrace hip-hop in the present without the knowledge of the past. The celebrating of this artist hopefully creates a foundation for the appreciation of the greats. This film will make people understand "How he lived the mack life, making money smokin mics like crack pipes."
