Dear Bob, Dear Young@Heart,
Let me introduce myself to you all...I've been singing since I landed on the planet Earth 54 years ago.
I had the pleasure and honor of seeing your doc film shortly before
Christmas 2008 and I was so moved that I was swept into an ocean
of laughter and tears. Shortly thereafter, I was asked to found a
German retiree choir and I said, "Sure, as long as I can do my own music."
So here I am with 25 singers who want to sing Pop, Rock, Punk and all that
Jazz in English. Our kick-off begins Januar 22nd and I thank you all for
your inspiration and zest! I can't believe that the German retirees in
Tübingen were so moved by your music.
I will keep in touch and wish you all the best in 2009!
