I don't know what everyone else is on..this movie was clearly filmed in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.. I work in a retail store at Metrotown mall in Burnaby and we lent clothes to the set.

i am a 17 yr old girl. me and my boyfriend went to the movies to watch the movie JUNO it was the COOOLEST movie ever! WE both loved it i can't wait to buy the movie.

OH by the way, there was three Minnesota cities named in the movie I caught, Stillwater, Mankato, and St. Cloud, so it is definitely in Minnesota.

They should have based this movie on a canadain city since they were in Canada with Canadian actors. Still love it though
and plus you cant get to st. cloud from canada by just driving an hour. and they also said a bunch of other places in minnesota too like when she was talkin about the person in the waterfountain in the mall. so i know it was filmed in canada but it is based in minnesota.

ahhhh...it may have had vehicles with the license plates of Minnesota but the whole movie was filmed in Canada, but i'm sure it was close to Minnesota.
I love this movie and i also love how its in miinesota cause im from minnesota and no movies are ever based in minnesota.
I've never been more excited to see a movie. It takes FOREVER for movies to get to our theater, since we live in a teeny tiny hicktown in waaay northern Minnesota.. my house is about 2 miles from the Canadian border. I wish I was Canadian. I'm musical like one, at least...*shrug*
I see alot of myself in Ellen. And it brings me much joy.

Ellen sounds like Cat Power, also known as Chan Marshall. Seriously, look her up.
Adorable, Ellen Page is my all time favorite actress it's unreal, and although she may not have the "perfect" voice, the song was great!
In Culture, in our priveleged little media world that us rich folks live in, for some reason it's very alluring and sensational, to fancy ourselves "pirates" and "thieves" and whatever else. maybe because nobody needs art and culture to survive, like they do water. but whatever the case, Oyun to call yourselves criminals, that's actually giving in to the paradigm, admitting that it IS somehow wrong to recycle culture.
