i saw the film in late 2007, (kinda late) and being ugandan, but growing up in the u.k, it opened up my curiosity of ugandan history.
My family told me how beautiful uganda used to be, compared to now, and how as in the film extra says it was like the 'the miami of east africa'.
I know people used to stop over to have a nice time.
There used to be and still are very beautiful places in Africa but the stupid racist media just dont want to show these parts.
I went to visit the country last year and loved it. It was laid-back and people dont hurry like here. Most of them work to live, not live to work and make time for enjoying themselfs and their family.
All my years in the u.k, i never felt home untill i got off that plane. I hope to go back to africa again one day, i think anyone can feel home in Africa.
