I also am a native Texan, who unfortunately did not know about the Austin Film School. I just have a quick question. What would be your advice to someone who desperately wants to work and be involved in the movie industry, but finished their degree with a bachelors in graphic design?
Where would you tell them to start? I currently have a great paying job which I have to keep in order to pay back all of my student loans. After 4 years I should have done so, but during the time that I have to work this job, what should I do to try to advance myself into the entertainment business?
I don't know if you watched On The Lot this summer, but I couldnt be more proud and full of hope that I could share that dream one day also. Not in directing, but just being part of the creature animations, special effects, etc. I want to be helping the directors bring their stories to life. I am so happy for Will Bigham, I probably spelled his last name wrong. Anyway I look forward to seeing his first feature film and also any advice that you could give me. I would be greatly appreciate it. Thank You!
