Part 2 of Baz Luhrmann's Searchlab lecture. Baz Luhrmann made his directorial debut in 1992 with the critically acclaimed Strictly Ballroom. Four years later, Mr. Luhrmann directed Romeo & Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. His unique storytelling and fillmaking style is matched only by his distinct visual style which has defined “Red Curtain” cinema.

While Moulin Rouge was perhaps Mr. Luhrmann’s most ambitious effort to date, he has consistently raised the bar of storytelling with each successive project.
