I've never seen this short film. But if the treatment had been serious, in order to produce intense psychological tension and anxiety in the vicarious viewer, then my following few remarks will be close to the mark.

Losing one's identity is probably worse than suddently going blind, because the recently blinded individual at least knows that he or she is now blind and that is, unfortunately, part of his or her new identity. But at least they know that.

To wake up one morning and very hesitantly look in the mirror and then see nothing but a total stranger either glaring or gazing back at you would indeed be discomfiting at the very least. At worst, it would be nightmarish; to be awake, and have your unconscious mind pouring everything including the kitchen sink out at you.

too unbelievable.. would a guy whose identity was stolen really just give up so easily, and then tell the theif to take care of his parents? The dude who stole the identity is way too passive. Who apologizes like that right off the bat? Its unrealistic. I dont believe any of the characters, but its a decent effort.
