holy cow people stop being so rude. its a movie. and the girl doesnt know better, shes just SUPER EXCITED about getting into the competition in the first place. id bet youd be doing the same thing if you got into a competition too.
But that's the point... to HER, she WON! She doesn't care that it's a technicality. If only we could ALL look at the world with such innocence.
It's cute - until you think about the fact she is saying "I won, I won!" She didn't WIN anything, she got by on technicality. To me, it always undercuts the scene.
