The World Premiere for Drew Barrymore's Directorial Debut Took Place Sunday In Toronto!

Check out brand new photos from the red carpet, after-party and - most of all! - the WHIP IT roller derby event held at the Toronto Film Festival this past Sunday, September 13th.

WHIP IT opens in select theatres October 2nd.

Drew didn't even go to Austin to promote TXRD. She had a strategic multi city tour set out. Its kind of late now but your league needs to contact a local theatre and try to make an event of the opening.

We have an exclusive with a local theatre and will be there all three days of opening weekend. The theatre and Hurricane Alley Roller Derby have been co-promoting movie and league for a month now.

How does a roller derby team get a hold of Drew Barrymore for her to come to their town to promote. La Crosse Wisconsin has a team (La Crosse Skating Sirens) that would love to have her at one of their home bouts!!
