i love this play its great and it is totally english =]

IT WAS AWESOME
I LOVED IT

And can we only hope that it puts Dead Poets Society disciples into revisionist mode

What a treat to see such an intelligent, literate film. The acting is superb, the direction flawless and the seratonin index through the roof. This is how movies should be!

richard griffiths should be nominated for best actor this movie is oscar worthy

Very entertaining film but I was a bit unhappy over the ending. For years the queer has had to die, I guess to make the film a moral statement. I would have liked to see the school teacher go on to handing out books somewhere or visiting baths.
That would have been bad enough and more likely.

Another example of a great English movie, i.e. Four Weddings and a Funeral, Topsy Turvy, Billy Elliot, Shakespeare in Love et al. Great story, Perfect casting and a great director.
