Romance can be risky, perplexing and filled with the perils of miscommunication - and that's if you aren't ADAM, for whom life itself is this way. In this heartfelt romantic comedy, Hugh Dancy (THE JANE AUSTEN BOOK CLUB, CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC) stars as Adam, a handsome but intriguing young man who has all his life led a sheltered existence - until he meets his new neighbor, Beth (Rose Byrne, "Damages," 28 WEEKS LATER, KNOWING), a beautiful, cosmopolitan young woman who pulls him into the outside world, with funny, touching and entirely unexpected results. Their implausible and enigmatic relationship reveals just how far two people from different realities can stretch in search of an extraordinary connection.

It seems to me nobody is getting to see the screenings. There are so many people complaining, and no one to answer the questions. I wonder if this is a FAKE SITE, just to get people's e-mail addresses :-|

Re: Cancellation w/out Notification is unacceptable. Since you have our info for the confirmation, please send notice that the screening is cancelled. I didn't even receive a post cancellation apology. Perhaps Fox would like to make nice by offering us passes to see another feature? Thanks from Louisville, KY.

Has anyone here attended one of the screenings? It almost seems like most of them were cancelled at the last minute.

Registered a few days ago for the showing in Columbus tonight. Never got a confirmation email, but since others had seemed to have the same problem, we tried to go anyway--and found out only once we got to the theater that the screening had been canceled. Some friends had gotten the confirmation email, but no warning that the show was canceled. We were very not happy with this course of events.

I was very much looking forward to the free screening of Adam which was supposed to show tonight in Columbus at the Landmark Gateway. When the group of us, all ten of whom were eager to see the film, more than half of whom never got a RSVP e-mail, arrived at the theatre, we were told it was cancelled, not by the theatre, but by the distribution. The film, well-pumped on NPR and local radio, is not only about, but has become a film *for* people who do not do well with changes in planned routine, and who have problems adjusting to social situations and sudden changes in plan. I cannot stress how much of a bad idea it is to first not have the RSVP system operate properly, then cancel last-minute, only allowing potential viewers to discover this at the ticket counter of the theatre.

Too many people are not getting their confirmation email (myself included.) Why have a screening if nobody can attend? How many people have received their emails on time? I registered almost a week ago and have nothing.

I jsut got the confirmation email and it's too late. I needed to have it two weeks ago when I registered because I live all the way up in Northern California and the screening is in San Diego in three hours. I needed to plan ahead and change my flight but I'm unable to do that now. This sucks. Someone needs to run this site better.

getting "500" error again

And I basically missed the screening because I never got the confirmatiom email for San Diego. I missed a once in a lifetime opportunity for this movie thanks to this faulty site. Thanks a lot, I'm pissed off.

I signed up for the free screening in Scottsdale AZ (Phoenix), got the confirmation e-mail, went to the theater to be told the free screening has been changed to another day the following week! No e-mail was sent (I signed up the day before the screening) to notify those who signed up of the change! Very Frustrating! Now Phoenix is not even in the drop down list!

I registered nearly a week ago for the San Diego screening and I still haven't received my email. The screening is the day after tomorrow.

The article above has Dallas as one of the cities that has advance screeening, but when I go to the drop down box, Dallas is not listed. Will this movie be showing in Dallas?

Dallas is in the drop-down menu. I just checked.

Has anyone ever received an email like promised? I still haven't gotten one for Austin Tx

Just received my email after 2 weeks

I signed up for San Diego but haven't gotten the email, what's going on?

Are Hugh Dancy and Rose Byrne do to be at the screening in San Diego on August 12th?

Now the RSVP link isn't working at all!

I emailed both of them yesterday afternoon and I haven't yet recieved a reply. This is ridiculous. If you're going to run a site at least be online to recieve emails.

Is anyone gonna fix the link?! There is a screening in a few days that I'd like to go to.

Bug the crap out of these two addresses and see if we can get anywhere:
wmf@fox.com
andrew.lin@fox.com

It's pathetic to have this one opportunity missed thanks to terrible system administrators.

Sign up link for PITTSBURGH is broken. Please fix.

500 Internal Server Error @ 8:31pm EST, Wednesday, August 5. Please fix. (Like you're not aware there are problems, but reporting anyway.) Thanks for offering Louisville, KY screenings of fine film fare.

Slam the WHOIS contacts for the broken domain:
wmf@fox.com
andrew.lin@fox.com

Please fix the links. I want to look at the info for San Diego and I need to make plans now.

I signed up for the Tampa screening on August 11, but I haven't received my e-mail! Help!

Like so many others I registered for tickets for a prescreening in Minneapolis for Adam but did not receive the promised confirmation email and the system is now broken.

The RSVP link is broken for DC, too... screening is tonight! help!

Please fix broken links

WHY WON'T THE SIGN UP WORK?!?!?!

Nobody in Pittsburgh can tell me how or where to purchase or get two tickets for the August 25 screening. Can you help? Please!!!

What's next

Big Hugh Dancy Fan.
Please come to San Francisco!

There is a huge autism and asperger community in Madison, Wisconsin, and we are dying to see this film. We are the home of the first Sundance Theater. PLEASE be sure Adam shows in our city. Thank you for making this film!

I have not recieved my confirmation e-mail for the screening tomorrow Aug. 4th! Please someone help me. I don't know where else to ask.

I may or may not have received my tickets, I haven't received a confirmation email. I hope I didn't delette it by accident. I signed up for the screening in Austin. mm

PLEASE add PHILADELPHIA!!! Wide release please.

I live in Grand Rapids MI and I myself suffer from aspergers syndrome. I cant wait to see this movie and to bring as many people that know me to see as well to get a perspective of aspies that I can't seem to make clear. When this movie comes to my area I would consider it an honor and a privelige to be at an advanced showing and give my perspective on the portrayal given. Thank you very much for putting out this film I hope it makes people more aware of others like me and that how we think and act is not wrong or wierd just different. Sincerely Fred Impens email: fgimpens@yahoo.com

I know it might be too late, but could you please add another screening for Dallas? The only one available is full and many other large cities have at least two venues and/or two dates. I only just heard about this movie and even watching the trailer I began to cry (I have Asperger Syndrome and, believe me, almost nothing makes me get emotional) and I feel like this is a must-see.

Please add San Francisco!

San Francisco please!

Please San Francisco

please add Hartford/West Hartford CT!

Why is it not possible to obtain tickets to the Chicago screening on August 3? This needs to be fixed!
