I don't get their motive, but it seems stupid. Out-of-sight, out-of-mind (mine anyways). I'd love to see it on the big screen, but if it doesn't get here soon, I'm "Playstation"
it.

This movie is awesome! I've seen it 3 times. Mickey Rourke brings so many layers to the Ram. And trust me, I wasn't a fan til now. I have to drive an hour to see it, but it's more than worth it!

The Wrestler in Columbia, SC? It wouldn't be worth putting it on one single screen in an area that has a metro population of over 700,000 people?! I'm dying to see this movie, and I want to support it, but it's looking like I have no choice but to watch it on the internet...
youtube eglence avrupa webmaster youtube porno izle film izle video izle

Wow, just found out it isn't even in Baton Rouge, LA...I am soooo disappointed and I bet tons of others are also. Don't know if it was pulled or what...disappointed in Baton Rouge

What has to be done to get The Wrestler in Columbia, SC? It wouldn't be worth putting it on one single screen in an area that has a metro population of over 700,000 people?! I'm dying to see this movie, and I want to support it, but it's looking like I have no choice but to watch it on the internet...

Northern WI and the movie isn't within 100 miles. COME on, wide release!!!

Rourke is going to win the Oscar. Can't you get this film in a wider release?? You will lose the momentum and everyone will end up watching it on video.

Toledo, OH.

Myrtle Beach, SC Millions of people travel here. There are 5 movie theaters in a 25 mile radius. But the Wrestler is not even in the state of SC. WTF

coming to myrtle beach february 6th at Market Commons

searchlight sucks! Daytona Beach, FL. Wanted to see Slum Dog Mil. and Notorious also, but not going now, knowing it's a searchlight movie. Download bootleg it is!

there are a whole lot of people in Monroe/West Monroe Louisiana that want to see this film, what about it Fox????

Yeah! What they said.

Okay, i live in new hampshire, and it doesnt show anywhere here. i have to drive over an hour into massachuesets to see it, instead of 15 to go to the theater closest to me. wtf?

My question is when it will be in NEW Mexico, i.e. Las Cruces...or El Paso, TX. I saw the latest commercial that said "Opens EVERYWHERE January 23rd" and I'm mad. The movie is wildly successful, award-winning and all that, just give it a true national release already! Please!!

Exactly! To me, opens everywhere should mean that it actually opens everywhere. It amazes me that Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, Rachel Getting Married, The Reader, and Revolutionary Road is actually playing where I live but The Wrestler is not! How is that even possible?

We get Bride Wars where I live, but we do not get good movies like The Wrestler!

Marisa Tomei playing a stripper, topless, are you kidding? I'd travel to Bolivia to see this one!

WORTH THE WAIT...WORTH THE DRIVE...People, this movie is so good, it took me a FULL DAY to appreciate its brilliance! You actually care for ALL of the characters in this film...and of course for that big piece of meat who deserves our attention: Mr. Mickey Rourke!

Rourke reportedly did this film for NO MONEY. It was done on a shoe-string budget, but more powerful than anything I've seen in a long time. That's likely the reason for the limited/delayed release. The producers want to get a buzz going, win some more awards (Oscars for Best actor? b est Picture?) and make back their overhead. Hope this movie makes at least $100 Mill.

If you grew up on 80's metal, the soundtrack ROCKS hard!

Not showing within 2 hours of Fresno, CA. I would love to see it, but can't.

It is playing at Edward's in Fresno starting Jan. 23rd.

I can't find it in Dallas, Ok city, crap it's not playing anywhere. So ridiculous that we can't watch this movie that is winning awards. ARRGGGHHHH

Parts filmed in NJ, Bruce wrote a song for the movie and its showing in Skillman? Your going to start reversing all of that great publicity guys. People have a short attention span. Get it out there!!!!

Yeah but they release that Notorious bull shit all over the place!!!!!!

They need to fire there marketing people. Hell I'm just going to buy a bootleg copy now. Good job Fox Searchlight.Fucking idiots!!!

Yeah, man. I agree. Texas is the second largest state in the nation and there are only 2 to 3 showings max? Dallas, Houston, San Antonio? I understand a lot of good movies don't make it to Huntsville but at least show it in College Station, Lufkin, or The Woodlands. Perhaps Fox Searchlight didn't expect the early success The Wrestler would bring and didn't plan on a wide release and now are unprepared to supply the growing demand for this film.

This is dumb. As much as I LOVE Mickey Rourke (even thru his, shall we say, "transitional period") and look forward to seeing this movie, I don't have the time to dedicate my life to tracking its release schedule. I don't get their motive, but it seems stupid. Out-of-sight, out-of-mind (mine anyways). I'd love to see it on the big screen, but if it doesn't get here soon, I'm Netflixing it.

How about the FL Panhandle? The closest is Tallahasee and that is 4-5 hours away for most people! Between Destin and Pensacola there should be something!

Exactly! Otherwise, we'd need to drive to New Orleans 3-4 hrs away and 3 states to the west!

Not in Phoenix, either...one of the largest US cities! What's up with that?

IN Scottsdale at the harkins Camelview 5

What is up with the changing of the release schedule. It was supposed to be released on Jan. 16 in Salt Lake City. Now it has been updated until Jan. 30. I've been looking forward to seeing this movie for a long time and now I have to wait longer?

Who's the high-priced marketing genius that came up with showing this film almost nowhere?

It kinda seems like while the cast and crew are making the rounds doing interviews and appearances and the exceptional Mickey Rourke is winning awards that Fox would distribute this film everywhere. Why on earth would they not want to show the film everywhere while there is such a buzz? I guess it makes more sense to let people forget about it, huh?

I guess the movie doesn't draw the typical 16-20 year old crowd therefore it isn't worth showing. Gimme a break! We want to see this movie already so how about showing it everywhere?

OMFG Most Movies that are wide released are nothing but crap if I see another Will Smith Blockbuster crap movie released I going to go on a rampage. We finally get a movie with substance and for some reason Fox cannot get it together to do a wide release. I live in Burlington Vermont POP 650000 and it is still not even being released at the Artsy Fartsy Cinemas. Come Fox Do a Wide release of a this movie....Everyone want to see it and you know it.

Yhea WTF I want to see this thing, lets get it to Vermont.

when is this film going to come out everywhere? I live in the SW burbs of Chicago and it is not here yet. There is no way I am traveling downtown or the northside to see this.

WTF Fox. I want to see this fucking movie already. You've done a good job of creating interest, but I have to wait until Jan. 23rd???? Why? This is a bullshit release schedule.

Friday, Jan. 16th?
I live in Miami and as per this website, you say that it will start playing on this day. I have being looking on the the movie times, and it doesn't come out!!!!!!!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SEARCHLIGHT! If you would show this movies in more cities then maybe Mickey Rourke could get paid for doing it now!

well this movie does not open any where near my place so i'm gonna go to a bootlegger and buy a pirated version. that's $10 out of your guys wallet.

what about new hampshire?

Filmed in NJ but not showing in NJ

The North Jersey area (Bergen/Hudson/Union/Essex county) is more densly populated than most major cities listed yet you have no release date scheduled in this area.

What are you thinking?????

Exactly! They filmed part of it where my sister works and we both really want to see it and it's not playing anywhere near us. I found a theatre in Skillman, NJ that's showing it, but I never heard of the place.

This limited release schedule is total bullshit. Why can't it be shown at all theaters like other movies? It's rare that a movie comes along I'll pay to see at the theater. Now I have to drive 2 hours to Charlotte or 2.5 hours to Atlanta to see a movie. I live in Greenville, SC.

I live about 45 minutes from Greenville, SC and was hoping to drive there in order to be able to see this movie but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I can't help but agree with you about the quality of movies--I never, ever go to the movies for the simple fact that they suck. Now here I am, wanting to pay my money to see this movie and it is nowhere to be seen. Way to promote what I hear is an Oscar-caliber film Fox!

Move to civilization.

Let's all just pick some money off the money tree and change geographical locations based on where the best movies are screened. Genius. Why didn't I think of that? Oh wait. I'm not completely retarded.

Love Greenville, SC.

I live near Greenville, SC and it is not showing here. Why spend all this money on advertising when you only release it in "select" places? Who is the genius in charge of that decision?

Move to civilization.
