How about the suburbs of NYC? Rockland, Westchester, Long Island?

Can't wait to see it!!

Anonymous | December 21st, 2008 11:33

I'm just glad Rourke is back to acting to what he use to do the great early movies a loaner heart broken but never give up attitude great to seehim come back to basic and Marasi as a dancer sounds like a winner. Cisco

I don't get their motive, but it seems stupid. Out-of-sight, out-of-mind (mine anyways). I'd love to see it on the big screen, but if it doesn't get here soon, I'm "Playstation"
it.

Anonymous | December 20th, 2008 10:39

Anonymous | February 18th, 2009 14:39

This movie is awesome! I've seen it 3 times. Mickey Rourke brings so many layers to the Ram. And trust me, I wasn't a fan til now. I have to drive an hour to see it, but it's more than worth it!

Anonymous | January 6th, 2009 10:49

I hate limited release movies. They try to create a *buzz* by only showing in certain cities. It's the internet age and everyone who might want to see this movie has heard of it by now. We're AMERICANS. We have short attention spans. Strike while the iron is hot and make your fans happy by opening worldwide NOW!
You think people are going to pay to see this in theaters in September, 7 months after the Academy Awards?

Anonymous | February 5th, 2009 20:46

coming to myrtle beach february 6th at Market Commons

Anonymous | December 22nd, 2008 10:15

How about Shelby NC? One of the great meccas of the old mid-atlantic championship wrestling days. Anybody that was anybody in the 70's and 80's made an apperance at the Shelby City Park Gym.

Anonymous | December 30th, 2008 17:35

What happened to the saying "If it will play in Peoria it will play anywhere?" Seems only right to show it in central Illinois. Springfield come on what happened to tradition?

Anonymous | December 30th, 2008 18:34

Anonymous | December 26th, 2008 06:13

My dad took me to Asbury Park to watch
wrestling when I was 12 years old in 1964. It was very thrilling to see it up close. I was a tomboy back in the day. Asbury Park was so different back then!!!!!! I will be checking when it comes to Jersey.

Anonymous | December 26th, 2008 12:29

quit your damn whining about it not playing in Jersey. Your a stones throw across the bay from NYC. What about us in the Little Rock area.

Anonymous | January 29th, 2009 16:00

Exactly! Otherwise, we'd need to drive to New Orleans 3-4 hrs away and 3 states to the west!

Anonymous | December 23rd, 2008 16:29

Yeah, I'm interested to know the deal there as well...checked Empire Theatres' website, but no mention of it in "Coming Soon"...totally sucks.

Anonymous | December 23rd, 2008 16:33

YES When do we get this in Toronto?!?

Anonymous | December 24th, 2008 06:26

Why so late in New Jersey when this was filmed predominanltly in New Jersey. I am a family owner of Frenchy's where the drink scene was filmed & we are DYING to see it in NJ. Please hurry & show it to us!

Anonymous | December 24th, 2008 13:38

Anonymous | January 3rd, 2009 07:44

I'm deeply saddened at what this says about the state of movie making in the world. I can see dozens of mostly worthless movies on the day of their release. The one movie in years that has made me want to go back to the theaters and there is no sign of when it will be coming to southern Ontario.

Anonymous | December 27th, 2008 13:59

I agree..I checked CinemaClock and it doesn't even list it in upcoming movies. How can they not mass release such a highly anticipated and critically acclaimed movie?

Anonymous | December 27th, 2008 19:02

try philly. trust me, it's worth it. i saw the movie in nyc on friday. the - best - movie - of - 2008. yes, it is that good.
