The beautifully rendered and energetic tale celebrates resilience, the power of knowledge and the vitality of the human experience. Horrifying, humorous and life-affirming, it is, above all, unforgettable." -- Claudia Puig, USA Today

I am an Indian by birth but became an American citizen and have lived all my adult life in the USA and France. I have to give all my compliments to Danny Boyle - he captured the real India I knew as a child - living in an upscale neghborhood with the slums alongside. These are the real experiences everybody goes through in India. It is one of the most beautiful and powerful movies I have seem. The casting of the main characters was superb and their acting was so natural. It should be nominated for the Oscars.
