Come on, guys. There are sizable towns in Indiana besides Indianapolis. How about South Bend and Evansville? Unbelievable that the number of venues is so limited.

come to savannah!

Too Good to let go... must watch for every movie buff... every Mumbaite, every Indian... this is the way the movies are made.. A lesson for Indian film industry (Bollywood).

RELEASE THE MOVIE ANY TIME IN NAGER COIL, TAMIL NADU, INDIA. BUT PLEASE DONT DO ANY DUBBING, ELSE , I WILL HAVE TO WATCH THE PIRATED COPY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS....

NASA....

Hi,

When will this movie debut in Mexico City? We are all very interested in seeing it.

Thanks.

I don't know when it will be in Mexico, but I have seen it twice here, es muy padre. Do you know what the title will be in español? jeffindenver@hotmail.com , gracias

When the movie will get released in India. It's already too late. It's pirated copies are available and peoples are eagerly waiting for it. There is no point in delaying the release. youtube eglence izle webmaster izlesene video izle

An indian movie not being released india!!!!
That's totally unfair........

ABOSLUTELY... i m dying to see this,, i just hope they dont show india in a very negative light

is it fair?
story, casts, music, locations, and many more from India

but it is not yet released in India.

is it right?

It's such a beautiful movie, I wish Danny Boyle had done it for my country! :P In terms of fair representation, movies will always have a fantastic element, more plausible than possible, but the overall positivity behind this story way outweighs even the squalor it reveals in the life of its protagonist "slumdog."

Go watch this movie. You will not be sorry.

Any chance this will ever come to Lubbock, Texas?

Cool movie guy. Hats off!.

A fantastic fantasy tying a certain reality with destiny.

I wish I made this movie :).

It's already too late.

No need for the aggravation over a delayed release, people! I've seen this movie twice in NYC theatres, and to be honest, I've felt like buying a pirated copy since it's a movie you will end up wanting to watch more than once anyway (amazing story and score!). I can't afford to keep paying $12.50 per screening, a pirated copy is cheaper, BUT it's better watched on the big screen, and I'll trust the audience in India to feel the same way. Make this movie number one, India, it does your country proud!

producers delayed too much.... there are already pirated prints in circulation in India. It's bad print but when the original is not available people go for whatever is.

End of january release in India makes no sense. It will not be a current film and people wud not enjoy it as much

Thank you for distributing this to Sacramento CA USA. I saw it today. Fantastic. I hope you can get it out to those who want to see it and are writing here.

Saw it today in Hollywood with my two teen sons. Amazing movie. Just now realizing how limited the release is. For those who think why not take money and feed the poor, a movie like this could motivate millions to donate to countries like India. A beautiful and brilliant portrait of a fascinating culture.

whatever u saw is just a small part of India, which apparently was the whole movie, this kind of slums you'll find in all the big cities of the world, including Los Angeles, just visit some parts of Downtown sometime, you'll get to know the reality.

You're pretty much a jackass to compare the homeless of LA to the slums of Bombay. Deal with the reality.

If u have the balls then come to India and see its beauty and prosperity rather than being a jackass yourself and puling out shit out of your mouth by just sitting there and writing comments. DEAL WITH REALITY DUDE, spend ur money on ur pizzas and do not think of donating it to India as we are not in need of it. Hope I m well understood.

when is the film being released in bombay? i can't believe my friends in new york are seeing this 'indian film' before me. arghhh!!

reading the comments makes me think that the American disease of 'I want it NOW' seems to have taken over the world. Can't wait a couple of weeks/months to see a movie? Send that $500 you want to sacrifice to someone who needs it for food/water/shelter! Most of us who want to see it will get the chance. While we're waiting, people are dying - not to see a movie - but from starvation and dirty water diseses.

Shut up. Go hug a tree.

Korea anytime? Ever?

I am thinking not, but how could I see this, living in South Korea? Thanks.

I'm in Korea too. If you're interested in making some type of gathering, let me know. sungmin82@gmail.com

Will it ever have a wide release in Toronto?

Does anyone know if they will release in the Bahamas?

Please, please, please, get this movie atleast for 1 day in evansville, Indiana...We are ready to shell out $500...Seriously..

Can You please release the movie in Evansville, IN. People from small towns from the Tristate are really wanting to see the movie that was shoot in Mumbai? You will have a big audience! Thankyou from small town America!

Having heard so much about this film over the last 7 months and being so deeply interested in this topic (I was born in Mumbai and lived there for 10 years), I am basically left helpless if I want to watch it in every way possible.

Why? I live in New Zealand. Yeah, if this movie isn't release in the biggest country in the planet and one which it is based in until February, you can basically conclude this isn't releasing in New Zealand... ever.

So, I'm left with a couple options:

- Wait for it to come out on DVD (which, btw, is going to take a million years).
- Pirate it when it's put online (which, btw, is going to half a million years).

I can say with all my heart crossed to anyone that I would seriously be willing to spend up to $300 to watch this movie if I got the chance to see it RIGHT NOW.

How shameful is it that we live in a society today where such master works of art are missed by even those willing to sacrifice 2 months of their rent to appreciate it?!

It is being released in NZ on 5th February, or you can fly to Austalia and see it on the 18th December.

why is the movie not being released in NJ?

This movie is played in Showcase at the Ritz at Voorhees, Nj

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous that a movie based on an Indian book won't be released in India till the end of January. No excuse considering News Corp. practically owns Indian media with Star. Also, I would assume this movie would do well in India since the book was so popular. Yeah, literate Indians? Blows my mind, too.

Am I really going to have to drive 2 hours to Phoenix to see this movie! Curse the cultural backwater that is Flagstaff.

I understand this is considered an "art-house" film and you want to expand it slowly but this is ridiculous! 10 screens, 32 screens, 44 screens, when is it going to be on 800 screens or more? I've seen smaller films with unknown directors open a lot wider than this.
It's a shame such a great film is being miss managed like this.

Will the movie ever be coming to theaters in New Jersey? And, if so, when and where in NJ?I don't see that anywhere on the listings noted above. With all of the positive reviews the movie is getting I'm amazed that distribution isn't better and more timely. I have to agree with the comment above as to potentially missing the movie's "15 minutes of fame."

I live in central New Jersey, and noticed that the movie is playing in Philadelphia now (Dec 10). I think that's our best bet.

For such a terrific movie, there ought to be clear and specific information on upcoming showings.
This is definitely a film that merits worldwide release and distribution... Could someone handle this obvious business decision before your proverbial "15 minutes" is up?

I totally agree. :( I'm going to have to drive half an hour to see it, and wait a couple of weeks! this is terrible...

When will the movie be released in India? We are eagerly waiting for it to be released!!!

WHY DON'T YOU RELEASE THE FILM IN THE COUNTRY WHERE IT WAS ACTUALLY SHOT?

YOU DO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN INDIA WHO SPEAK ENGLISH AND WATCH ENGLISH CINEMA.

JOKERS

Why is this not being released in Utah? We have no other choice but to watch it online then, sucks balls

Too many Mormons in Utah. Better luck next time.

Utah has shown itself to be a closed minded place – I say boycott Utah !

I can't find any theater in ORLANDO that is showing it!?!

Can't believe the Enzian didn't pick it up!

It did show in Orlando at the Regal cinema Water ford lakes. You can still watch it next wednesday for free at the Altamonte springs AMC theatres. Go on this website and click on attend screening. Then you can just rsvp with you email address and they will send you the ticket. Hope this helps

I'm not getting any results for showings in San Diego or Los Angeles. Somebody please help! I really want to see this movie! Tammie

WHY DO YOU NOT RELEASE ALL OVER US ON SAME DATE. SOME REGIONS HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH & HALF TO WATCH THIS DAMN GOOD MOVIE AS THE SITE SUGGEST. IN THIS AGE PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE SUCH PATIENCE. MANY MORE WILL SEE THIS FILM THRU INTERNET RATHER THAN WAITING FOR SUCH LOOOOOOOOOONG TIME.
