U ALL ARE CORNY AND I'M SPEAKING FOR THE ONES WITH THE NEGATIVE MINDS ABOUT THESE RAPPERS, BOTH OF THEM HAD INTERESTING THINGS TO SAY, IT DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF THEY WERE ON THE WEST OR EAST COAST THEY TOUCHED PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN WAYS, SO RESPECT THE GAME AND STOP PRETENDING LIKE U KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT THEM, THE ONLY ONE THAT REALLY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED IS THE MAN UPSTAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of you really need to stop disrespecting the memory of both men .They are both long gone, but live on through their music. Neither man was perfect but they both made a name for themselves in hip hop and both had fans, who still listen to their music and discuss them. Grow up , enjoy the movie for what it is intended to be a movie about the late rapper Biggie's life and his transformation from around the way guy to one of the greatest rappers from Brooklyn. When a movie about Tupac drops you can rant about Tupac there!

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG

BOTH THE BROTHERS WAS AWESOME!

HAVE WE LEARNED ANYTHING

QUEEN

The problem is respect the man above Jesus he makes it all possibler be about something grater than youself's.

Respect to both of the Brothers just keep it real and lead by example!

By any mean necessary!

Illest MC..............

Check out this article and see why Biggie STILL is the illest MC of all-time.

http://www.mtv.com/bands/n/notorious_big/lyrics/index.jhtml

and simply....The Greatest.

Nigga Please! Pac's as dead as a door nail. Ha Ha, You guys must still be living in "Pac's Life". Y'all need to graduate to the real world you hear...Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.

You know back in the 90's when i heard Pac dissing BIG, I knew he was gonna get himself killed. That's just ghetto law, you don't do shit like that.

And now I know this movie is gonna re-ignite the rivalry but yo let's respect the two men for their contribution to hip hop. They were the two greatest and we are blessed to have their music.

Let's stop the bullshit about who was the greatest cause that's the same shit that got both of them killed. Let's celebrate the lives of these two great black leaders and go watch the movie in a spirit of unity.

PEACE & LOVE

Da' Realness

i think its crazy how people just disrespect the dead.... both rappers touch different people in different ways... just because u didnt like the song, dont mean somebody else wasnt feeling it... everybody is entitled to there opinion, but damn at least show some respect for them...

em is the greatest

Tupac is the greatest rapper alive. You can tell by the lyrics and words in his songs. He speaks the truth about real life things. And if you've ever read any of his poetry, you would never think that BIG was a better rapper. The movie trailer looks tight. I'll probably go see it, but NOTHING will EVER make me change my mind to think that BIG was a better lyrcist than Tupac. RIP Makaveli.

WRONG AGAIN!! BIG is the Greatest!

I have listened countless Tupac songs just to see what you guys like so much about him and sure I will admit he was a touching writer that sang about real things in the ghetto. However I have yet to hear even one Tupac song that can come to:

- warning
- BIG Poppa
- Gimme de Loot
- One more chance (the remix)
- BIG's verse in FLAVA IN UR EAR

...and countless others.Tell me which Tupac line can touch any of those BIG classics in terms of lyrics and just raw rapping skillz.
PUHLEEZE, listen to those songs intently and compare to any Pac ryhme and tell me WHO IS THE GREATEST?!!

If Pac was so great, how come dude never sold more than 2X platinum before he died? By the time he died Ready To Die had already sold 4X platinum and Life After Death was heading for 10X platinum.

Look at the evidence in how many rappers use Biggie's lines in their lyrics to this very day. How many uses Pac's? Trust me don't get caught up in the hype...BIG IS THE GREATEST...WHEN HE WAS ALIVE...AFTER HE DIED...AND FOREVER!

Tupac sold 5 million copies of All Eyez On Me before he died. It went on to sell over 10 million copies eventually.

Oh, and Biggie was dead already before Life After Death was even released. You don't know what you're talking about.

All Eyez on Me only sold 9 million, it is not certified diamond by the RIAA so it did not sell 10 million copies. And that album is still Pac's largest selling album.

Life After Death sold 10+ million and is one of only 3 hip hop albums certified diamond (Outkast's SpeakerBoxx/The Love Below and MC Hammer's Please Hammer Don't Hurt Em).

Stop arguing and go listen the album and watch the movie.

Get YOUR facts straight.

ALL I KNO IS THEY BETTA HAVE THE NOTORIOUS P.I.G SLEEPIN ON PAC COUCH

EASTCOAST SUCKAS

WESTSIDE

@WESTSIDE:

U ARE SHALLOWED MINDED (EAST-COAST SUCKS), IF IT WASNT FOR THE EAST CREATING AND BRINGING HIP HOP TO THE FOREFRONT , WHERE WOULD U JERRY CURL, SKIPPY SNEAKER , CREEPS BE, STILL IN THE ALLEY WITH A BAG OF SHERM, DEGRADING AND DESTROYING YOUR OWN HOODS AND PEOPLE,,,,,,U ARE A DISGRACE, U REPRESENT IGNORANCE ,,,GO PICK UP A BOOK AND DO SOME RESEARCH,,,,,,,,,AND SO WHAT BIG SLEPT ON HIS COUCH, HE DID NOT HAVE (BIG) TO SLEEP ON ANYONE'S COUCH. HIS MOMS WAS A TEACHER , MEANING : SHE HAD TENOR IN THE NYC PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPT, ALONG WITH A BACHELORS DEGREE, (IF U KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS (TENOR)), NOT ONLY THAT SHE TRIED HER BEST TO INSTILL DECENT MORALS AND VALUES INTO HER SON BUT HE (BIG), LIKE SO MANY OTHER BLACK MEN HE HAD AN ATTRACTION TO THE MISEDUCATION AND FALSE GUIDANCE OF THE STREETS,

SO CHECK YO' SELF OR BREAK YOURSELF BUSTER (WHATEVA THE HECK U UNEDUCATED PEOPLE SAY OVER THERE), FOOL, IF IT WASNT FOR THE BRONX THIS RAP SHIT WOULDNT BE GOING ON, WHAT DID THE WEST START OUT WITH, THE WORLD CLASS WRECKIN CREW, LOOKING LIKE THE DELFONICS THROWBACK STYLE, GET U OUTTA HERE, TRY NOT TO USE UR AK ON ANOTHER BLACK MAN. PEACE SUCKA !

BIG's the Greatest Rapper of alltime period. Remember All Eyez on me was still selling when pac passed, and so was Life After Death when BIG passed.

What y'all need to look at is fact that Ready to Die sold more than any pac album when both of them were alive.

And i hope they got pussy pac getting shot here in Brooklyn...where the real niggas from Bitch!

WESTSIDE can kiss my black azz.

BK Mothafuckas!!

Pac isnt dead and B.I.G is and what do yall mean that big was a better rapper?!!! you killin me...Keep ya head up,Dear Momma,Toss it up, Hail Mary, Shed so many tears, and I aint mad at'cha...big aint got no, not one song better than those..

Just to weigh in on the conversation. I am Jamaican and have been listening to hip hop since 1992 (I am talking about from Cypress Hill, Das Efx and onyx days) and honestly sure Tupac had albums at the time but none of us in these parts either heard or rated them highly. Frankly I thought Tupac was an actor trying to rap!

Biggie on the other hand, Ready to die was a breakthrough album that brought hip hop in full force to the entire world. At the time so wide was his appeal globally that he was one of the first Hip Hop artists to perform at Sting (in Jamaica) and command large crowds. He made hip hop change from being something that only a few people followed to being a mainstream music in Jamaica and the world. And he did all that with just his first album!

People in Jamaica didn't really start listening Tupac until he started dissing Biggie, and then when Pac died his fame skyrocketed into legendary.Hence Biggie's song "You're nobody til somebody kills you".

Biggie was the biggest influence in hip hop while he was alive, on the other hand, people didnt think Pac was so great until he died.So you judge for yourselves who was the Greatest.

First of All,The Legendary Hip Hop Icon Tupac Amaru Shakur use to let Biggie get on stage and say a verse or two when Tupac was already a Platinum Selling Artist with his "Strictly 4myNiggaz" album, this was like 92,93,when Biggie didn't even have a album out.Second of all who cares if the people in Jamaica had Biggie perform @ Sting, you can't compare a performance at Sting to Tupac,Tupac was a Movie Star,Poet, and Activist and Most of All, He was REAL,unlike Biggie who created a character in his raps that he confused with reality. It doesn't matter if people in Jamaica started listening to Tupac when he diss Biggie, what Matter's, The World was listening to Tupac before Biggie even had a album out. Tupac was the Greatest because was REAL...period..I know your trying to give credit to Biggie cause his mother is Jamaican, and your Jamaican, but let's be Real, Approval from Jamaica doesn't really count in the Hip hop world, and if you don't believe me, just look at the sad state of affairs for Dancehall artist in Jamaica,Shaggy,Sean Paul,Elephant man,Beenie Man, came and went like a fart in the air,I never heard of Dancehall artist selling a million in their first week. Before speak Do The Knowledge before it does U,

ANOTHER ONE

AWWHH BWOYY another ranting, raving Tupac fan. Why do you have to get all disrespectful to try to make ur point (much like ur idol did wen he was alive). Let me drop some knowledge on you.

Pac was a mommas boy who was born in NY but reps for LA. He went to an Arts School like a good little mommas boy, dropped out and turned to the streetz to try to get hard. He ended up so confused that he could write the most beautiful songs but yet turn around and chant that he's a gangsta. His so called THUG LIFE was as much a product of his good acting skillz (honed at Baltimore school of the Arts) as much as his gangsta chants was. That's why people thought he was so damn crazy, it's as if he was living in his own world (just listen to Pac's Life). That's why he got so crazy when he woke up from his dream world to find that the kid that used to sleep on his couch is now the King of Hip Hop, carrying the music to heights he never reached (Well, not until he was dead). Then his jealousy set in.

BIG, on the other hand, grew up as a hustler no Art School crap, in the streetz strapped and hustling. You don't see him writing sweet poems, he is singing about his BITCH. Now that's REAL! And he never changed, just listen his music from the first song to the last...same theme "I am a kid from the streetz trying to make it in music, but if you mess with me I WILL SHOOT YOU!"

Real Gangstas know another one when they hear one, and we also know when someone is faking.

And as for Jamaica, son, we may be a small island but for Biggie's music to reach as far as our little island, that's testimony to the kind of reach the King had. Tupac's ratings unfortunately didn't reach that far.

And for your information, DJ Kool Herc the Father of Hip Hop, he was Jamaican.

So get YOUR facts straight.

What?!!! Tupac was by far the best rapper in history. He sold more albums, had more songs and became Thugged out in L.A after being shot 5 times by King Tut( who big had to pay 2 kill pac)..see puff and big knew that pac was a mastermind in lyrics and wanted to get rid of him..So when they tried a second time(After the song Hit'em up) pac faked his death and had bigg killed..Bitches...now if you think pac is dead, take his autopsy photo and the photo taked before he died (the one when hes in the car with sug)and compare the tats on his upper right shoulder( it supposedly says west side with a skull) but thats false..check the two tatoos out and tell me im wrong!!

c'mon people everybody knw the score! sure i'll admit biggie was a better natural rapper and freestyler but 2pac was straight ghetto and straight frm the heart, he was the thug poet and dident give a f***!!! biggie only had 2 albums, when pac released 5 albums, with one be a double album!!! if ur sayin biggie made a lifetime impact then pac has done that X10!!

THUGLIFE!!! westcoast, bad boy killas ya heard!!!

In just two album B.I.G. made a lifetime impact. Where as it took countless failures for 2pac to have a great album. I'm a 2pac fan but I tend to see past all the bs that 2pac put up as a front. He claims to be a westsider and a gangsta when he was neither born on the eastcoast and went to a private art school. He blamed B.I.G for getting mugged and shot in a New York studio when it was his actions and attitude that got him mugged and he started drama for sales and publicity. Everyone gots to stop putting 2pac on top of a pedestal, he is deserving of being a great artist but he wasn't the greatest. B.I.G. was!!! If B.I.G. had not been gunned down his career would have been fair more successful that 2pac had. His impact was felt with only 2 albums whereas. Better lyricist than 2pac hands down. Better storyteller than 2pac. And not a fake ass person like 2pac. THE KING of RAP WILL FOREVER LIVE B.I.G.

I couldn't agree more. Dont forget how 2Pac started out in show biz by dancing for Digital UNderground, doing the Humpty Dance. Then he was an African prince in Digital's video: 'Same Song'. All you have to do is you tube-it and you will see how fake Pac is. He only became a 'thug' when it was popular to be one(easrly 90's nwa, nas, onyx, black moon) and to help lagging record sales. He was jealous of how BIG took over hip-hop his first time out and claimed Biggie stole his stlye.LOL

Anyway the movie is about BIG, so if you dick-ride real hard for Pac and the westside(LOL) still STFU and show respect.

First if you weren't in the street's please shut the fuck up when you say Tupac's attitude got him mugged, you sound like you read the Source magazine for all your info, you ever heard of a thug from East New York Brooklyn name Tut, or have you ever heard of Haitian Jaque or Jimmy Henchman, if not shut the fuck up and do your research before you say or print anything about Pac,did you know Biggies relationship to these indidviduals, if not shut the fuck up 4 the record

Please, you dont know what ur talking about. You need to recognize that BIG was nothing but a backstabber. He's the whole mastermind of 2Pac's death and everyone knows it. You call ur self a 2Pac fan? If you ask me, they should make a movie about 2Pac's life story (although Russurection was pretty good).

You've Got To BE KIDDING, Sure Biggie was better at freestyles,But When it comes to song writing Tupac was far better. And You Say Tupac had past failures, what are you talking about? All of Tupac's albums are platium plus, some even Diamond. Like Makaveli, which only took a week to make, has sold 28,000,000 in the U.S. alone. And Tupac was every thing but fake, and if biggie was so good why didn't he respond to Hit Em' Up, The greatest Diss of all Time. Biggie was Great And I Can't wait to see the movie, but you need to come back to reality and take biggie off the pedestal and put Tupac back up there. P.S. I Believe You ARE THE FAKEST HALF ASS TUPAC "FAN" I EVER HEARD.

2pac was and still is the greatest of all time.
"All Eyes On Me" finished this album in only two weeks
"makaveli" wrote and recorded all the lyrics in only three days and the production took another four days
Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-selling hip hop artist of all time
2003-MTV's "22 Greatest MCs" countdown listed 2pac "number 1 MC", as voted by the viewers
Vibe magazine poll in 2004 rated Shakur "the greatest rapper of all time" as voted by fans
His lyrics are studied at Harvard University and others
biggie is nothing over rated Just like Makaveli said "your nobody untill sombody kills you" Thug life Makaveli lives on

Outlawz Got Some New Hot Sh!t Coming For Ya.
Whatever Happen to mmmm! What's TAht Group? Yeah! JM Junior Mafia Where They @ - Pac Was The Greatest And Will Always Bee

How can you be the greatest of all-time with only two albums? NAS, Rakim, Jay Z, and Tupac have many more bodies of work. I do think that Biggie was one of the best.

You Say 2. I Say From The First To The LAst Were All His Greatest Works

SORY SOME GUY USED MY NAME I RESPECT BIGGIE SMALLS I TALK ABOUT BIG POPPA ALL THE TIME AND I CALL HIM BIG POPPA AND ILL WATCH HIS MOVIE THE FIRST DAY IT COMES OUT AND SORRY AGAIN ITS NOT ME

2PAC SHAKUR AND BIGGIE SMALLS ARE THE TWO BEST RAPPERS REST IN R.I.P

You have to be kidding about Royce tha' 5' 9" right. I mean this guy didn't even have enough since to record with Dr. Dre. What are his current accomplishments that make him the best? I just don't see it.

The trailer didnt impress me.

i really sure and hope they dont mess this movie up. i think it will give an inside to the new generation what Rap and the real everyday struggle was all about. And an real look into Chris Wallace's personality and character. So far the props look great.

I'm interested to see the acting.
