Just to weigh in on the conversation. I am Jamaican and have been listening to hip hop since 1992 (I am talking about from Cypress Hill, Das Efx and onyx days) and honestly sure Tupac had albums at the time but none of us in these parts either heard or rated them highly. Frankly I thought Tupac was an actor trying to rap!

Biggie on the other hand, Ready to die was a breakthrough album that brought hip hop in full force to the entire world. At the time so wide was his appeal globally that he was one of the first Hip Hop artists to perform at Sting (in Jamaica) and command large crowds. He made hip hop change from being something that only a few people followed to being a mainstream music in Jamaica and the world. And he did all that with just his first album!

People in Jamaica didn't really start listening Tupac until he started dissing Biggie, and then when Pac died his fame skyrocketed into legendary.Hence Biggie's song "You're nobody til somebody kills you".

Biggie was the biggest influence in hip hop while he was alive, on the other hand, people didnt think Pac was so great until he died.So you judge for yourselves who was the Greatest.

c'mon people everybody knw the score! sure i'll admit biggie was a better natural rapper and freestyler but 2pac was straight ghetto and straight frm the heart, he was the thug poet and dident give a f***!!! biggie only had 2 albums, when pac released 5 albums, with one be a double album!!! if ur sayin biggie made a lifetime impact then pac has done that X10!!

THUGLIFE!!! westcoast, bad boy killas ya heard!!!

In just two album B.I.G. made a lifetime impact. Where as it took countless failures for 2pac to have a great album. I'm a 2pac fan but I tend to see past all the bs that 2pac put up as a front. He claims to be a westsider and a gangsta when he was neither born on the eastcoast and went to a private art school. He blamed B.I.G for getting mugged and shot in a New York studio when it was his actions and attitude that got him mugged and he started drama for sales and publicity. Everyone gots to stop putting 2pac on top of a pedestal, he is deserving of being a great artist but he wasn't the greatest. B.I.G. was!!! If B.I.G. had not been gunned down his career would have been fair more successful that 2pac had. His impact was felt with only 2 albums whereas. Better lyricist than 2pac hands down. Better storyteller than 2pac. And not a fake ass person like 2pac. THE KING of RAP WILL FOREVER LIVE B.I.G.

You've Got To BE KIDDING, Sure Biggie was better at freestyles,But When it comes to song writing Tupac was far better. And You Say Tupac had past failures, what are you talking about? All of Tupac's albums are platium plus, some even Diamond. Like Makaveli, which only took a week to make, has sold 28,000,000 in the U.S. alone. And Tupac was every thing but fake, and if biggie was so good why didn't he respond to Hit Em' Up, The greatest Diss of all Time. Biggie was Great And I Can't wait to see the movie, but you need to come back to reality and take biggie off the pedestal and put Tupac back up there. P.S. I Believe You ARE THE FAKEST HALF ASS TUPAC "FAN" I EVER HEARD.

2pac was and still is the greatest of all time.
"All Eyes On Me" finished this album in only two weeks
"makaveli" wrote and recorded all the lyrics in only three days and the production took another four days
Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-selling hip hop artist of all time
2003-MTV's "22 Greatest MCs" countdown listed 2pac "number 1 MC", as voted by the viewers
Vibe magazine poll in 2004 rated Shakur "the greatest rapper of all time" as voted by fans
His lyrics are studied at Harvard University and others
biggie is nothing over rated Just like Makaveli said "your nobody untill sombody kills you" Thug life Makaveli lives on

Outlawz Got Some New Hot Sh!t Coming For Ya.
Whatever Happen to mmmm! What's TAht Group? Yeah! JM Junior Mafia Where They @ - Pac Was The Greatest And Will Always Bee

How can you be the greatest of all-time with only two albums? NAS, Rakim, Jay Z, and Tupac have many more bodies of work. I do think that Biggie was one of the best.

You Say 2. I Say From The First To The LAst Were All His Greatest Works

Biggie was more than a rapper by far. He was a good father, a loving son, and a loyal friend. I didn't know him personally, but if you listened to the words that came from him, you knew his character. He spoke wisely and he loved to make people laugh. He was a giving person. Whenever he ate, everyone around him ate. He was looking to put on everyone he could. The vision he had is being carried on by many young artists today. "Living life without fear, puttin' five karats in my baby girls ear." "Stereotypes of a black male misunderstood, and it's still all good." Biggie was the best ever, dead or alive. "We'll always love BIG POPPA!"

You have to be kidding about Royce tha' 5' 9" right. I mean this guy didn't even have enough since to record with Dr. Dre. What are his current accomplishments that make him the best? I just don't see it.

The trailer didnt impress me.

i really sure and hope they dont mess this movie up. i think it will give an inside to the new generation what Rap and the real everyday struggle was all about. And an real look into Chris Wallace's personality and character. So far the props look great.

I'm interested to see the acting.

Rest in Peace Big Poppa, the pain you spoke in your strong voice, gives hope for those on the bottom that thier is a chance to be on top. An inspiration.
