YOUNG@HEART Opens April 9th

Fox Searchlight's YOUNG@HEART opens Wednesday, April 9th in select theatres. Certainly in New York City, his face is on shirts at street stalls and wholesale retailers everywhere. Yesterday, on Union Square in Manhattan, I saw a shirt for sale that said "Obama is the New Black", nothing to say about tones of literature about Obama and the ebook I'm currently reading - http://www.ebook-search-queen.com/ebook/BARA/BARACK+OBAMA+A+CHAMPION+FOR+ARTS+AND+CULTURE.all.html More than a political figure, he seems to have become a fashion statement.

On our way home from seeing the film "Young @ Heart," I told my husband that the Obama campaign should get together with this chorus and make a commercial with the "Yes We Can" song. Maybe it would help reach out to the over-60 voters. :-)

It is the most wonderful,

It is the most wonderful, moving film, the actress Tabu was especially enchanting to watch, as were all the other actors.
It is a film that touches and moves you. It talks about family values, learning about your roots and not losing where you come from and your heritage and wholesale lingerie at the same time appreciating all that immigrant parents have done to try to better their childrens' futures and lives.
Beautiful filming and scenery in India and New York. I have watched it many times and would never tire of it.
