Attend a YOUNG@HEART Concert!

Tickets officially go on sale at Ticketmaster this Saturday, March 29th. However, people can start ordering tickets NOW through the Wilshire Theatre box office.

We have a little over 3 weeks 'til the concert and almost 2000 seats available -- so don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity!

As a side note, I got a chance to sit down with three YOUNG@HEART chorus members (Dora, Steve and Stan) as well as the chorus's director Bob Cilman and the film's director Stephen Walker -- and will be posting video from those interviews on the site soon. So be on the lookout! It was such a delight talking to all of them.

YOUNG@HEART opens in select theatres April 9th.

Visit the YOUNG@HEART Web site here.

Hello I live in Paris, I've just seen this movie , a great movie, yes very great. It's amazing, I hope to see them when I'll come back in US or LA... But, I hope they come in Paris....

I truly loved this movie - I cried & laughed at the same time! I especially enjoyed "Yes I Can Can" and "I Will Fix You". I am going to play my guitar into my 90's for sure!!!
From a young chick in her 60's from Chicago.

My best friend and I can hardly wait to be old enough to rock with you guys!!! We LOVED the film and hope that you would consider coming to Plymouth MA.

11-20-08 My neighbor (75+)and myself (75+) were driven to Dallas TX last summer by my Daughter (50+) to see this film at the "Art Theatre" THE ANGELIKA. We all enjoyed it so much, laughter, tears and all. Now I see in the current AARP mag that it is now on DVD. Where do I get the DVD?? so I can spend another night or two of fun. Thanks Colleen

We watched this film with our daughter last night; the first time we have watched a movie at home together in years. I don't know when I've laughed (and cried) so much in one movie. It's a tremendous testament to how we all should be living our lives really, and what's most important in this life. We loved this film. As a matter of fact, our daughter called tonight to tell us she has a new ring tone on her phone just for my husband and me. When she played it, we started crying all over again...it was Coldplays, "Fix You." It was also meaningful to us New Englanders to also see Northampton as we were there on many occasions when we lived in NH.

Please go see my Mom and StepDad and all their friends and neighbors at New Pond Village in Walpole, Massachusetts. I saw your movie last night and thought it SO INSPIRING!!!! My parents, Kay and John Whitney live in the independant housing portion of New Pond Village and I'm sure the assisted and skilled residents would be SO THRILLED to see your chorus! PLEASE consider this request and feel free to contact me, I can give you all the information you need, Sincerely,

P.S. I grew up in Dover, Massachusetts

You guys rock. Go Ed Rehor!

I just bought the DVD today. NOT A PENNY WASTED!!! The movie was fantastic! It reminded me of mine grandma before she passed. She never liked to sing until she was in her later years. She was very active and sang in a elders chior in NJ's Chinese school. It brought out the joy in her. I highly recommend everyone to watch it. It was a wonderful experience!!!

Saw this movie 2X last week on my way to and from Seattle. It was a HOOT and can't wait till it comes out on video. As a professional vocalist-I enjoyed it for it's musical content. I also have parents in their 80's, and it reminded me of them. I've recommended it to many of my friends, and told my sister she needs to rent it and watch it down in Texas with my folks. I can't wait to show it to my kids!! God Bless you, Bob, for the work you do-and God bless all of those in the group. Keep singing!!! Rebecca-Milwaukee

Fan from Switzerland: saw the film last night and can say it's got both class and brass! Apart from the songs, I was so touched by personal stories. Stan and gang, you're doing a wonderful job. Keep the show going!

Saw the documentary and then saw Young at Heart at the Beacon theater 6/22 ..... what a wonderful show. They are an inspiration to people of all ages! Chris H.

Please come to Tulsa! Loved the chorus members, loved the movie. I would camp out overnight to get tickets to a live concert!

I saw young@heart last night and I am still on a high. What heart, what soul, this movie moved me beyond words.
The tribute song "Forever Young" for the friend that died, and then "Fix You" was incredible. I cannot say when I have enjoyed something this much.

I am still teary-eyed after seeing this movie this afternoon. Everyone should take the time to see this funny and heartbreaking film - it's incredibly moving and the message is a great one. If Young@Heart tours Houston, I will be there!

Saw the movie last night. Loved it. Very moving to me and the guys I was with. The scene of the group singing "Forever Young" to the prisoners was incredible as was "Fix You." Thanks for your courage, energy and sense of fun!

Please come to New York.

To say uplifting is just not good enough.
Hilarious, profoundly moving, beautiful. Both the filmmakers and the subjects are extraorindary. And the choir director is a SUPER MENSCH TO THE NTH DEGREE.

As one of those who lay claim to being the 16th Morrow child (honorary, of course) back in South Bend IN, I am deeply moved by the clips and the interviews. I can't wait to see it on the big screen and better yet, a live performance here in Central Florida would be great!

G.B. "Billy Boy", Orlando, FL

Absolutely amazing, heartbreaking, inspirational, uplifting, beautiful, exciting. A movie must-see. A group must-see for ALL ages - take the whole family - any race, age, religion. Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes - book Central Park on a summer night and let the love shine. My goodness this is like a refreshing bath in sunlight and spring shower.

Come to NYC and play Central Park

What about San Antonio, Texas. I work for a retirement community average age 80 and I know that our residents would really enjoy watching these beautiful folks.

I think it was immediate for me. I also went with the idea that I’d work there, so I was really up for it. I wanted to love the place. For some people, it’s sort of too much, but I was interested in too much. I went once on my own, and then I brought Jason Schwartzman and Roman Coppola to go work there, to write the script with me. I wanted to make sure that wholesale lingerie they connected with the place so I was really sort of like a salesman, an Indian tourism promoter. But I’m really suited to being there. I felt really comfortable as soon as I got there, and I always miss it when I’m not there

This was one of the best movies that I've seen in a very long time. A must for everyone of all ages. This was a very inspirational movie that I recommend to everyone to see. If it's not playing at your local theater ask them WHY NOT???? - Diane- NJ

We've seen the Young@Heart several times in Northampton. Each time is as good as the first. You shouldn't miss this concert (or the movie). This concert is for all ages and you won't be disappointed.
