I belong to an amazing school that is 60% Hispanic. Our teachers, parents, students and families are eager to see it. I heard it was showing but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Please help!

Although it says this movie was released in Seattle, it is not playing in Seattle proper. It has been playing in cities around Seattle, but which are far too out of the way for people who take a bus and don't want to spend money on gas just to watch a film. There are PLENTY of theaters in Seattle, several of which embrace films of social or cultural awareness, so I don't understand why this hasn't been considered? Accounting for socioeconomic factors of this city and the overall record of success for independent films, it's a mistake to not have play in at least one theather here. It's extremely disappointing, because I kknow of several people, including myself, who were looking forward to it.

What about Wichita, Kansas? Why is this movie taking so long for a general release? It doesn't make any sense!!!

A lot of my friends and I want to see this movie,when is it going to be showing in Tulsa,Oklahoma?

I am anxious to see this movie, but their is not showing in the State of Oklahoma. What is up with that?

I saw the movie with my 84 year old mom and two of my siblings, it was the first time Mom had been to the "show" in a couple of decades. She loved it and starting telling her lady friends to watch it and support our "Latinidad". Please watch it on the big screen and don't be tempted to buy a bootlegged DVD. If possible make it a family affair, I guarantee you will have a very good converation piece afterwards and just with commenting and exchanging each other thoughs and perceptions. I know we did.

There are thousands of Hispanics and amigos de Latinos in the Jacksonville, FL area ... PLEASE make sure that the film comes here, too! My husband and I have had the freedom to travel ~ in Mexico, and Central and South America; and currently work with a medical clinic and orphanage in Bolivia. Everywhere we have visited or worked, we were/are welcomed with grace and hospitality by individuals and families who have little to offer, materially. Despite their poverty, their hearts are filled with graciousness and vitality; their homes are warm and welcoming.

The Hispanics we have met who come to the US to live and work, some legally and others illegally, add an important dimension and gift to our life and culture. They remind us, in this generation and time, that at some point in history, that we most of us came from people who were immigrants or nomads. It is an important memory to hold close and cherish. Immigrants and the culture they bring enrich our life, personally, and the broader life of our nation. Without immigrants in our midst, I believe that important elements of our culture will cease to exist. We have historically been a nation of immigrants. Altering that fundamentally changes the pattern of America's national DNA. We can't forget that we are all someone's child under the same moon ...

What happen to Portland,Or! We only have it showing here for 5 days in some little run down second class theater! This movie deserves better! I could see this becoming a phenomenon considering the huge Latino population everywhere - not just in the southwest. So I hope the producers consider that and try to expand it! I was disappointed that no city in North Carolina was going to have it, even though there is a very large immigrant population here. I'd certainly drive to other cities to see it (I'm disappointed some people are complaining it's only in the next town over! I'd drive a couple hours and make a day of it!). So here's hoping for Raleigh-Durham, but I'd be okay with Charlotte too =P

In the list there is only LA what about Palmdale ,i would like to see this movie but i guess i have to wait when it comes out in DVD,i have heard great reviews about this movie i would like to see it but i know i have to wait ,Something to think about a lot of film companies maybe dont know there is a big market out there for hispanic movies and a lot of demand for it ,a lot of filmcompanies can make a lot of money out there in the hispanic market there is demand for spanish and also english and spanish movies ,lets go more into detail lets talk about TV black people have Bet (Black Intertainment Television) and stars sometimes i watch this channels bet for the music videos,caucasians (white)2halfmen,and a lot of shows i cant list all but i watch some of them,mexicans have channel 22,34,52, univision is the channel more hispanic watch but it is all in spanish,50% of the time i watch this channels, but i would like to see more english and spanish shows,the only english and spanish channel is the music video channel Latv ,puertorican people have MTV3 ,sometimes i watch this channel i like the music videos they pick ,the two music videos channels i like the most is MTV3 and LAtv and also i almost forgot ,I think its called CruzingTv , i would like to see more english and spanish films that would be nice ,i lot of people forget that America is not just black and white it is also Brown ,we were here with the indians before america was discover i didnt know we were lost,I LOVE PUBLIC SCHOOLS you learn a lot if you want to learn ,dont blame the public schools or the parents blame the students,all i have to say is if a kid wants to learn he will learn and if he doesnt want to learn he wont learn ,The good thing about America is you have public schools and there free(PS public schools are not free parents pay taxes and also property owners pay taxes (parents pay a lot of taxes for the schools but its worth the money)what i am trying to say is other countries parents pay a lot of taxes and they still have to pay extra for schools,What i am trying to say is Americans take a lot of things for granted and other people from other countries are hungry to learn , i am not saying america is bad, I LOVE AMERICA with out america i wouldnt have the brain i have right know .I remember growing up in the San Fernando Valley my dad would take us to the cine Azteca there you were able to watch movies in spanish and also there was another cine in panorama that you were able to watch spanish movies those were the days ,both places are close because the owners wanted to make more more money building other things they didnt care about the people they were making money but they want more more money, What i am trying to say that the cines should have a small section for some spanish movies and the rest in english , i know they would make a lot of money then before they had only english movies,all we are asking is a small section of the cine for spanish movies ,something to think about Mexico+California=Mexicali, I Love America,i think the reasen i am able to open my mind to other cultures is because i have been with women of different cultures some exsample i have been with Caucasian(white) women,Mexican Women,Asian Women,Black Women,Italian Women,Russian women and other, even some people have made fun of me an call me International Lation Lover i dont mind being called like that i even like it peace out .
