JUNO hits the #2 spot at the box office this past weekend!

The New York Times' "Carpetbagger Report" had the following to say in its second piece on JUNO (also quoting from Rotten Tomatoes), "High School With Money":

"What happens when a pregnant teen turns into a monster? Watch and learn, write the folks at rottentomatoes.com:

'Juno' now looks set to reach a couple of major milestones at the box office. It will easily surpass the $71.5 million of 'Sideways' to become the highest grossing film in company history for Searchlight. At its current pace, the $2.5 million-budgeted pregnancy pic will smash through the $100 million mark and could go much higher depending on added buzz the film may receive from Golden Globe wins and Oscar nominations,” said Rotten Tomatoes.

A Fox Searchlight spokesperson called to say that the budget was actually five times that, but that kind of cash could still buy a lot of Slurpees."

Now, check out JUNO screenwriter Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman on Sunday morning's "Shootout." (Two videos are provided below: one on "the abortion question," the other on Diablo's mother!)

Can't you just picture Jack complaining to Miles that he's convinced his nuts are going to fall off, and considers joining a monastery. Maya convinces Jack to press on with his book, so he goes to an alternative publisher. The publisher turns out to be a very domineering woman (Merrel Streep, Devil Wears Prada-type) who aggressively advances on Miles.Reseller Hosting Reseller Ucuz Reseller Hosting Wordpress

We need a Sequel. My suggestion: Miles does get back with Maya. As a result of his success with her, he gains some self-confidence, which increases his sex-appeal and suddenly he has two women. He likes them both and can't make up his mind about who to go with. Meanwhile, the tables are completely turned on Jack since Justine turns out to be a complete nymphomaniac. Can't you just picture Jack complaining to Miles that he's convinced his nuts are going to fall off, and considers joining a monastery. Maya convinces Jack to press on with his book, so he goes to an alternative publisher. The publisher turns out to be a very domineering woman (Merrel Streep, Devil Wears Prada-type) who aggressively advances on Miles. Miles wants to get his book published but has a great deal of discomfort dealing with this lady, especially since he has 2 other women he cares about. The other two bump into each other, compare notes and after a time realize they have the same boyfriend. The two of them go out for a bite to eat and find Miles with the publisher-woman putting the moves on him. Jack tells Miles he was right along--"the price is too high." There's no end to the possibilities here.

I just saw this movie with my 20 and 23 year old and we loved it! How brilliant. Such a good script that had everything that a movie requires to be successful. The casting was perfect and the soundtrack was creative.
I will tell everyone I know to see this movie!
It was great to be able to find a reason to go to the movie theater. Thanks

cool!
take a look at this: Big Brains

Few people would suspect that Boyle is capable of capturing and conveying so "romantic" a story as this one. Well, not every "romantic" wears his heart on his sleeve. The crushing poverty and pervasive cruelty of Bombay/Mumbai put a knife's edge on the lovestory. wholesale lingerieBoyle's seething passion as a filmmaker infuses every frame. Dev Patel and Freida Pinto step up very nicely to make you believe, too.
