What's the matter Fox Searchlight guys? Did you put so much behind JUNO, you forget to update here or read here?
Say bye, bye to Alvin and change the Oscar nominee to Oscar winner.
The release ONCE in the big theaters.

OSCAR FOR ONCE!!!

Once wins best song

A glorious performance from the two on the night.

The whole world needs to see this movie. It makes your heart soar.

CONGRATS ONCE!!!

INSEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARDS
Best FOREIGN FILM
ONCE

Better then
4 Months, 3 Weeks And 2 Days (Romania)
better than
The Band's Visit (Israel)
better than
Lady Chatterley (France)
better than
Persepolis (France)

Now that's a WAY harder category to win than the non-"foreign" film one.

ONCE IS the BEST!!!!
Thank God some people recognize art!

ANY chance of re-releasing Once, this time in all the big theaters for Valentine's Day or just before Oscars??? I know they're re-releasing Hairspray and ONCE deserves this SOOOO much!!! So do American theater goers.

ONCE - The best limited release movie scores higher than the best wide release movie of 2007!!!

Congratulations ONCE. We knew you were the best!!!

Well said, the People of NJ.
Yes, to all you said. It is pure magic in its talent, its artistry, its realism, its ability to grab and stay with you for months, maybe years (?) and to save your soul from the ache of the dark times we live in.
The music is phenomenal. The originality is phenomenal. The actors are phenomenal (that scene with the Dad listening to the recording is priceless).
Has there ever been a film before that lifted people to such euphoric levels?
That's movie magic that's just WAY above everything else.

I cant tell you the enormous feeling of overwhelmed excitement, anticipation, awe, and just plain respect for the beauty of this film. I was compelled and hooked from the first minute of the movie. Tears completely streamed down my face in what can be described as gut-wrenching belting of the soul in the first song. The first music store scene is by far one of the best scenes in cinematic history!
My fiancee grabbed my hand as we couldnt take our eyes and ears off the screen. Was it the chord progression, the lyrics, the harmony, the melody, or simply the pure genious of everything infused together!? We didnt know as we both were moved beyond words.
Lets get this show on the road and tell everyone in the world about ONCE!
Im rivotted, moved, and touched to the very core of my body and im forever changed by the simplicity and beauty of the whole film and music!
We the People of NJ LOVE "ONCE"!!!
