The New York Press wrote an article about THE DARJEELING LIMITED's Waris Ahluwalia -- now you can learn all about this fascinating individual who you may also recognize from his roles in THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU and Spike Lee's INSIDE MAN.

His interviewer Eric Kohn begins, "When I introduced myself to Waris at the Apple store in Soho shortly before the public premiere of Hotel Chevalier, I discovered a witty, insightful character whose story was worth exploring..."

Find out how the actor-cum-jewelry designer became entwined in the "Wes Anderson universe," what his experience was like on the LIFE AQUATIC set and at what point people began recognizing him on the street by reading the full article at New York Press here.

The Los Angeles Times also penned an article about the distinctive-looking, young entrepreneur, entitled "Waris Ahluwalia Is an Unlikely Jewel." Below are a couple of interesting excerpts/tidbits. (The first of which took me totally by surprise!):

"Tomorrow's itinerary will also include dropping by the Bergdorf Goodman jewelry counter, where his handcrafted House of Waris rings, pendants and earrings are fetching up to $66,000."

Ahluwalia has no formal training in jewelry making, yet he has managed to quickly succeed where other designers have struggled for years. Ask him to describe his technique and he will tell you that he simply sketches the pieces that he wants and delivers the specs to teams of artisans in Rome and India who translate his vision into reality.

The article goes on to reveal that Waris met Wes (and consequently hit it off) at a U.N. peace rally, and Waris's next gig will be to appear in a vampire movie called ROSENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE UNDEAD.

Now if the above information don't intrigue you -- nothing will! Read the article in its entirety at the LA Times's Web site. And check out the Web site for Waris's business at "House of Waris."

I think I love my wife because she gives me hope. She is so wise. She appeared in a dream and woke up beside me. She heals my mind. I trust her. lingerieWe grew up together. She taught me so much about love and friendship. I think I love my wife and I need to be with her now. I do love my wife.
