Hello, I am newbie here, This is a nice website Welcome to my website:
http://www.3gp-converter.net
Thank you very much.
I had no trouble finding Royal Tennenbaums or The Life Aquatic in theatres and watched them both on their release dates.

no love for philly?

How did Atlanta, GA get left off of this list? Isn't it in the top 10 DMAs in the US?

I am also a Wes Anderson fan and after a month it still has not come to Vegas.

Who knows what's going on?

Its Nov 24 and I can't help but get angry at this. I had no trouble finding Royal Tennenbaums or The Life Aquatic in theatres and watched them both on their release dates. Almost two months after release and I still can't find this film! Also as a huge fan of Wes Anderson, I guess I am sad because this must be a sign that things are not going too well for his films anymore, at least from a profit standpoint.

Please rush this out to DVD so I can get it soon!!!!!!!!

How about India? The movie is about India... and I am living here... and I would love to see it... please come to Delhi?

The OC please:]

phoenix has it, and has had it for like a month, but its only at one theatre and in a lame part of town, it stinks that people are having to drive so far, but at least i get to see it HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

there's anyone else to thank, for this PEE-culiar distribution! Anderson's idea? The studio's master-plan? If the idea was to create a buzz on the net, guess THAT has bedroom furniture sexy lingerie succeeded; however, manipulating your customers and fan-base is very bad KARMA.

Birmingham, Alabama, please. For chrissakes.

It SAYS it came to Bham on the 26th. It did not.

Yes come to Birmingham, please.

I drove to Atlanta to see it last week for the Q&A, but I want to see it again...in Birmingham.

still waiting to see it and it sucks. i highly doubt we're even going to get it here. the idiots in this town wouldn't appreciate such a film anyways. i gotta move.

Believe it or not there are people in Huntington, WV who want to see this movie. It's a college town- you're missing out on some sales.

Come to Montana! We're starving for culture.

Oh, and by the way, I think this is a totally interesting experiment, I really do. BUT: Perhaps it's being instigated by arab nations to keep us dependent on foreign oil... even better.

Don't drive 4+ hours to see this awesome movie (which I haven't seen yet), Write your congress representative!

Lubbock, TX! Congratulations Fox Searchlight, you've pissed off people all over the country. Now I feel like a chump for getting my friends excited about this movie.

Just wanted to say thanks a lot for skipping Birmingham, even though the town is listed on the Oct. 26 release. You've pissed off people here as well!

how bout you just release the film everywhere wtf..nj is a big state i ahve to drive 2 hrs to see a movie

Hey Iowa City,

DL opens this Friday at Sycamore Mall.

http://www.marcustheatres.com/theater.cfm?theater_id=2226

I think that it is funny that is playing in Pagosa Springs which has one two room theater and not in some of the big cities. hmmm...odd.

I live in a pretty good size city in CT, and I have to drive to Hartford or New Haven. Wes Anderson is by far my favorite film maker. I'm so angry that its not a wide release that I might not even see it till it comes out on DVD.

wes makes beautiful movies and the mainstream tears them apart. this release is probably an attempt to prevent the same thing that happened to Life Aquatic from happening again. that movie fizzled out way too quick in the cinema. this release seems like a sociological experiment for marketing firms. If you can't have it, you'll want it more. tease the masses to make more in the box office over time. If their cruel experiment works and it means more acclaim & respect for wes, then, maybe its ok.
actually f**k that, i wanna see this movie today, and i'm gonna have to drive the 90 minutes to denver to make it happen.

I think the reason for releasing it this way is to give it some momentum and to spread the word I guess. I might be wrong though..

This whole progressive release thing is really annoying and elitist. Obviously, many people who do not live in the More Important Cities want to see this movie sooner rather than later. Fox's release b.s. is totally without merit and actually makes me not want to see it to punish them for their stupidity.

Chattanooga is the place to be. Our entire city wants to see this movie...obviously. We refuse to wait any longer. Bring it! I dare you!

Yeah I totally agree with this, I hope it comes the 26th when they bring it to Nashvile!

I agree chattanooga is where it's at!

Some cities are just more important than other cities. Therefore the people in those cities are more important than the people in the less important cities. I live in Nashville, so it's to be expected that the people in Atlanta and, er...Cleveland? The mistake by the lake? Okay, fine. Whatever. Anyway, they get to see the film well before I get the chance. Yeah, it totally makes sense, see?

I'm going to try to see this when I'm in New York City later this month. I assume it's playing there.

Screw this shit. Honestly, it's like Fox Searchlight is begging you to pirate this movie.

This is so strange. I live in Atlanta, GA and it's not even releasing until tomorrow. And Nashville's only like 4 hours away; bands know to book those two cities on an East Coast tour---why must Wes stay away? :(

It's really killing my drive to see the film when I picture it as some kind of vast marketing ploy. I hope that's not the case.

Jesus, I was hoping to view this film SEVERAL times if it were to show in my city. I hate the mainstream audience for doing this...

Must the people in central valley California travel north or south to see this??? At least play it in Fresno, or any other strategic location in the central locale. It's California, come on.

wilmington, n.c. !!!!!

will it play in toms river nj

There's no screening in the entire state of Iowa? How about Iowa City, people?

If Campus 3 was still open I bet it would be playing there. I miss that place.

yeah what the hell....we like good movies in Iowa too

um check Oct 26, its opening in Des Moines

This site: www.boxofficemojo.com/showtimes/theater.htm?id=)Q&p=.htm
lists it as beginning on Friday the 26th at Sycamore 12 in Iowa City. Let's hope the page is right.

flagstaff Arizona?
that would be sick

Ya c'mon people why arn't you just releasing it everywhere? Maybe they think they'll sell more by making it exclusive. I'm not driving to Phoenix to see a movie! No matter how cool it is. I can wait for DVD.

Hay what about ELLENSBURG, WA!!! ( WA state, not freakin' DC) Can't wait.

santa barbara, please!!!!! i'm not the first person to write it here.

VIRGINIA BEACH!!!??

You do realize it says that not all of the October 26 release date sites are listed. And also, this sort of thing happens with every foreign film that gets American distribution, which isn't many foreign films at all, so just quit your whining.

Seriously, it says it will be wide on Oct. 26, so just wait until then before you complain that it's not playing where you are.

The movie came out September 27th. It's now Oct 15th, and I want to see it. Release it nationwide already. I'm not driving 3 hours to see a film for 8 bucks or more unless I get to be a part of it first...and get paid.

How about Davenport, IA or even Iowa City, IA????

I drove two hours to see it last night. It sucks that it wasn't playing in my home town of Temecula, but it gave me an excuse to visit L.A.me. At least I got to eat at Canters!

Anyway, amazing film, definately worth the drive. I think that this release is the brain child of a clever ad agency guy. Note to that guy: you suck!

ALBUQUERQUE says "Thank Goodness for Oct 26th", 'cause doesn't seem there's anyone else to thank, for this PEE-culiar distribution! Anderson's idea? The studio's master-plan? If the idea was to create a buzz on the net, guess THAT has succeeded; however, manipulating your customers and fan-base is very bad KARMA.
