The final touches have been made to the film page for THE DARJEELING LIMITED! Now you can find:
Click on the "Explore TDL" button under the "Open Menu" feature on the left side of the DARJEELING film page. (Just click on "Open Menu.")
"Explore TDL" will open up to a scene of an train crossing the deserts of India. Pass your cursor over the windows where you people are moving around (and elsewhere on the page) and see what results! You can access:
- Clips from the movie
- Behind-the-scene featurettes
- Train schematics - sketches of the interior and exterior of the Darjeeling Limited (pictured)
- Instant message icons
- Downloadable desktop images
- A music video
I particularly love the subtle animation you find throughout this section of the site -- from the cobra to the flying shoe to the spraying perfume to the vehicle carrying all their Louis Vuitton luggage -- and even the tapestries that unroll prior to each of the compartments opening. But then again I'm a sucker for those kind of things...
The Soundtrack!
You'll find a Flash-animated tab in the bottom left corner of the DARJEELING page that, if you click on it, opens a menu of soundtrack selections such as the Kinks, Rolling Stones, Chicago Symphony Orchestra and much more. (There's also a link to buy the soundtrack.) Then whatever music you choose will play in the background as you browse the rest of THE DARJEELING LIMITED Web page.
