Janet McCracken, associate food editor for Bon Appetit magazine, recently wrote on the "BA Blog" about getting to see WAITRESS. She too uses pie-baking as a form of self-therapy and lists some of Jenn's (Keri Russell's) pies from the movie as examples of how to be creative with one's pies and take "pie-baking-therapy to new heights."
From her article (and from the movie):
- I DON'T WANT EARL'S BABY PIE: Quiche of egg and brie cheese with a smoked ham center.
- I HATE MY HUSBAND PIE: "You take bittersweet chocolate and don't sweeten it. You make it into a pudding and drown it in caramel..."
- I CAN'T HAVE NO AFFAIR BECAUSE IT'S WRONG AND I DON'T WANT EARL TO KILL ME PIE: "Vanilla custard with banana. Hold the banana..."
- PREGNANT MISERABLE SELF-PITYING LOSER PIE: "Lumpy oatmeal with fruitcake mashed in. Flambé of course..."
- But there's also FALLING IN LOVE PIE. With lots of chocolate in it, of course.
The full post of the BA Blog can be accessed here.

I loved the movie "Waitress" and wanted to go out and make all the pies that she was making in the movie, or describing. Is there a place that I can get all the recipes for all the pies from the movie?
