The pie-centric love story WAITRESS stars Keri Russell, Jeremy Sisto, Cheryl Hines -- and LOADS of different flavors of pies we promise you you've never heard of. Searchlight acquired the film at Sundance and it will officially hit theaters on April 27th.

Along the lines of the movie's mouth-watering theme, we asked Searchlighters what their favorite kind of pie is -- and have included the results below. Out of 48 respondents...

Apple cobbler/crisp - 11 (23%)
Pumpkin - 8 (17%)
Key lime - 7 (15%)
Lemon merengue - 7 (15%)
Strawberry rhubarb - 3 (6%)
Blueberry - 2 (4%)
Banana cream - 2 (4%)
Peach cobbler - 2 (4%)
Pecan - 2 (4%)
Coconut cream - 2 (4%)
Fudge - 1 (2%)
Cherry - 1 (2%)

To add to the above statistics (consider it the cherry on top) 6 people (13%) insisted on "a la mode" with their pie.

And lastly, someone tried to claim cheesecake was a pie and it set off a very emotional debate. (It is a silly theory though if you think about it.)
