THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND enjoyed a blow-out of a ceremony at the BAFTA Awards this past weekend.

  • THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND won "The Alexander Korda Award" for "Outstanding British Film of the Year." Filmmaker credits go to Andrea Calderwood, Lisa Bryer, Charles Steel, Kevin Macdonald, Peter Morgan, and Jeremy Brock.
  • LKOS's screenwriters also won for "Best Adapted Screenplay" - kudos go to Peter Morgan and Jeremy Brock.
  • Forest Whitaker won the BAFTA for "Best Actor."

It's safe to say that England hearts this film...
