Michael Arndt enjoyed a day in the sun yesterday (among more to come, no doubt).

He won:

• Writers Guild Award for "Best Original Screenplay" for LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE

• BAFTA Award in the same category, "Best Original Screenplay"

And veteran actor Alan Arkin won the "Best Supporting Actor" BAFTA as well.
