Had a chance to hang out on several occasions with Jake "The Snake" Roberts after his career was over. We actually met in a restaurant where he was dining out and, later, trying to score crack cocaine. My childhood memories of him on WWF were shattered in an instant. He was traveling with a British author who had paid him for rights to a biography. He even had a gaping wound on one of his forearms (he claimed from a barfight with "King Kong" Bundy) that hadn't been medically attended to. I feel better now having seen the movie and these interviews knowing that he isn't alone in dealing with these demons.
