I was totally blown away by this film, which is quite different from every flick I've ever seen.
This movie has haunted me... It has made me cry and laugh, it has made me hopeful and sad, it has caused me to feel despair and hope all at the same time.
There is no question that the director should get a much deserved award, but I need to know... Who are those talented and terribly cute kids who portrayed the first two stages of the main characters' lives? sexy costumes Why can't we hear and see more about them? The very young Jamal is to die for, cute and talented beyond words, and oh so natural. He was my favorite, although it's hard to single any one of them out.
Kudos to all the kids, and an honorable mention to the young boy who plays the blind singer, (I don't know if he really is blind or not, he does such a good job it's hard to tell). That child has stayed with me,sexy lingerie wholesale lingerie his five minutes of fame were so powerful and emotional, wow! The simplicity with which he accepts his terrible faith tugged at my heart strings, and I would like to make sure his performance gets proper recognition.
